There was a racy sci-fi show a number of years back called Lexx. In the 4th season the cast ends up on Earth and there was an episode where one of them tracks down a low-budget porn film studio because he thinks he recognizes their go-to actress. One thing leads to another and next thing you know the whole thing ends up at the White House where they're filming a movie in the Oval Office while the President and First Lady watch.

This isn't a book, but it does contain a lot of the necessary elements. You've got intrigue, suspense, fear. The only thing missing is some kink, a few gunfights and a car chase!

My guess is that one this issue is over, the market will be flooded with books from insiders, each mainly justifying their own actions and blaming someone else. You might get away with a cheeky one, though, if your name was really Michael Flynn, say, and you were careful to make sure it was fictional.
