I am now trying to add my newly self-published (CreateSpace) versions of a trilogy previously published by an established publsiher. They were mainly only selling romance books, so the rights to my books were returned to me a couple years ago. Rather than let the title languish, I decided to self-publish the trilogy with new artwork and new ISBN numbers (per requirements indicated by the original publisher). However, when I filled out all the info Book One, including the descriotion, I was unable to save the information as a box indicated the book is already on goodreads. It is, but not with the new ISBN number and new cover design. The previously published version of this trilogy is no longer available to the buying public except as used books. In order to avoid confusion, can I get the original published version of the trilogy deleted and just show the self published version? Otherwise it it going to confuse readers. How do I accomplish getting my self-published version of my trilogy on goodreads? Please help; The ISBN # of the self-published is different from the original but the site does not seem to recognize that.

There were 2 new (pub CreateSpace Jan 2017) editions of your books added back in January. Are these the ISBNs that you are trying to add again?https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

OK, cool... Book 1 and Book 2 (the CreateSpace, self-published versions of my books, are visible on goodreads. Now I would like for Book 3, The Passage of the Night, to be visible on goodreads as well as it has been out for some time now on Amazon. So here are the details: the title of the novel is "My Strange Little Oasis"
the sub-title of Book 3 is "The Passage of the Night"
ISBN-10: 1543168264 ; ISBN-13: 978-1543168266 Thank You! (I know trilogies can be confusing, but my original publisher would only publish it in 3 parts as she said e-readers don't like really big books, so it was a marketing decision.) SK

Goodreads policy is to keep all published editions/covers, so the older editions must stay. However, if you'd like to set the defaults to the new editions, which will then show in title searches and on your author page, you can follow these steps (for each book in the series) https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3....
