Runell Just realized that I hadn't fixed my post, so I quickly did. :)

Thanks for fixing it!

Sadly, the infraction is still going to stand. We're trying to get folks in the habit of updating right away, or by the end of the month at the absolute latest. Updating on the 1st/2nd of the month defeats that aspiration. Hopefully, next month will be better!

message 109: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished Rookie Move (Brooklyn Bruisers, #1) by Sarina Bowen by Sarina Bowen. Started off really strong with a lot of focus on hockey (LOVE), but the end kind of fizzled and seemed rushed and cheesy. Overall a quick read. Wavering around 3 stars.

message 110: by Karen D (new)

Karen D | 111 comments Finished 4 3 2 1 by Paul Auster . It was so long but really good! It was a bit confusing at first following the 4 different storylines, but as I got into it, it made more sense. I loved the way it was set up, you got a very different perspective about life in the 1960s, depending on which storyline was being told.

message 111: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished Where I Need to Be (B&S, #1; Club 24, #1) by Kimberly Knight . A very big disappointment. Going between 1 and 2 stars right now. But eh, glad to have gotten that off of my list.

message 112: by Sunshine✰✰✰ (new)

Sunshine✰✰✰ | 687 comments I finished Her Own Devices by Shelley Adina 6/10/17 ★★★

This book was definitely better than the first. Now that the characters are established and the storyline is underway, I found this one to be fast paced. I was annoyed by Clare in the first book. She was too headstrong. Now, she is fighting social expectations to be her own person and earning respect. I'm excited to see how she conquers the next chapter.

message 113: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (jojolyn) | 673 comments Read Moonshot by Alessandra Torre on 6/9/17. A 4 star read. I like this author. This book was good, not as good as the author's 1st book but still good. I love sport related romances so this was a quick easy read for me. The book had some twists that kept me reading.

message 114: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Bea (gekrepten) | 650 comments Susan, I finished one of the books you selected for me - My Soul to Keep! I loved it :) going to get to the other book probably next week.

message 115: by Runell (last edited Jun 19, 2017 04:15PM) (new)

Runell Hi, Jamie! I finished Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1) by Leigh Bardugo a couple of days ago, so thanks for the push to finally read it because it was AWESOME. I gave it a 4/5 ★

I finally got Caraval from the library today so hopefully I can get it read before the end of the month.

message 116: by Shree (new)

Shree | 23 comments I just finished reading Deadmen Walking (Deadman's Cross, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon today. I'm sad it took me so long to get to this book! I ended up reading this in one sitting as a took the day off from work. This book was a fun and quick read that was fast paced. The story telling felt a bit cliche'd at times. It was also more telling than it was describing at times. A fun book! 4/5

Nora Eliana | Papertea & Bookflowers (noraeliana) I finished boththe books Karina picked for me: Coraline by Neil Gaiman and Silver Borne (Mercy Thompson, #5) by Patricia Briggs and I loved both of them! I think I gave both 5 stars!
So thanks for pushing me to finally pick 'em up :)

Avid Reader and Geek Girl chose Into the Water by Paula Hawkins and Girl Waits with Gun (Kopp Sisters, #1) by Amy Stewart for me"

This has been a bad month for reading (quantity) I'm just starting Into the Water by Paula Hawkins today.

I have been reading depending on when library holds come in. I just finished The Boy on the Bridge by M.R. Carey yesterday. A solid ***1/2.

Avid Reader and Geek Girl (avidreaderandgeekgirl) | 425 comments I had surgery this month which I thought meant more reading time but ended up being less and more sleeping I'll put these books back on in August if I don't listen to them before then.

message 120: by Eunice (new)

Eunice | 636 comments I've read Glory in Death by J.D. Robb more than a week ago and it was really good. 5 stars! I'm hoping to continue on to the next books, but I'm waiting for the perfect time to read it for the SS challenge. I'm trying to read The Sea of Tranquility before June ends, but I'm not sure about that. Haven't even started on it yet.

message 121: by Karen ♐ (new)

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 2365 comments Finished The Queen (The Original Sinners, #8) by Tiffany Reisz . Great book and it finishes the series!

message 122: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 2091 comments Penumbra --

I read Fishy Riot by Lindsey Black and Einstein's Peep Show by Josephine Myles . I enjoyed both. Thanks for these picks.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1920 comments Ashly,

I finished Moving Maverick and although I like this series this particular book was my least favorite - 2 stars

I also finished Take and I really enjoyed it - 4 Stars.

I added your recommendation to my TBR but I didn't get time to read it this month.

Thanks

Avid Reader and Geek Girl (avidreaderandgeekgirl) | 425 comments I got 0 of my books read, I'm very ashamed but I did read for FWYS. But the surgeries took down my reading time.
