Quarterly Read-a-thon Friday 2nd June - Sunday 4th June 2017
Friday was really busy for me, and today is shaping up to be that way as well. My Friday total is a measly 21 pages. Tomorrow is going to be a dedicated reading day to make up for the lack of reading over yesterday and today.
You're doing better than me! Life is busy!

Running total = 210 pages
I'm actually rather proud of that, despite it not even coming close to some! It's another busy weekend for me so to have read 154 pages today isn't a bad effort. :)
I have to say that everyone is doing a terrific job! Well, let's be honest - there is nothing better than reading! :)

I know when it's really busy for me, sometimes I don't even get time to even pick up my book or iPod! So kudos for being able to get some time in! :) xo

Friday and Saturday (so far) Still Alice by Lisa Genova. My edition is 429 pages. I'll add whatever's next here and total them.
So far just 126 pages and I just finished Journal d'un vampire en pyjama by Mathias Malzieu. I loved this autobiography which told the story of his diagnosis of aplastic anaemia and subsequent search for a bone marrow donor.I'm a bit slower reading in French but I'm going to switch now to a Ladies Detective Agency book which should be a bit quicker.

You're very welcome. :) Hehe, I'm sure you would need a regular hit of caffeine Michelle! And that's a great strategy to use if you had access to both paper and audio versions of one book. :)
Listened to the first 3 chapters of Katie Mulholland by Catherine Cookson. I was all set to divide the chapters from the total of pages to work out the equivalent, then I realised that this one has books within books! Oh help! :) Does anyone know how many chapters this has in total? I can't seem to pick nice easy audio-books for this challenge can I? *rollseyes*

I too am listening to an audiobook - wouldn't get much reading done otherwise! I looked at the number of pages in the book & the total reading time. Divided pages by minutes & got the figure of 1.8 pages per minute! The time for each chapter is given on Audible or BorrowBox. Have managed 87 "pages" of audiobook plus 14 pages of hard copy. I've also read about 100 pages of a 2100 page file of reports for work. (War & Peace on steroids!) Does that count? Not exactly enjoyable but still reading!

Your book has 752 pages, so if you read/ listened to 20% of the book, then the formula would be:
752 * 20 / 100 = 150.4 pages.

Plenty of time Baz. Don't worry about the big numbers, they've been doing it a looong time. They are what I call professional readers! I'm a stay at home mom and have all the time to read and I can't keep up either! Besides that, all of our pages add to the total. It's possible that we'd fall 60 pages short of the goal without your help. It's just for funzies!!
