Cecily Black | 1805 comments I updated her spot on the S/s! Twist, could you request for us to move on? (If you haven't already) I am not sure how to do that part lol

Melanie | 7 comments Twist,

Outlander: '...a lovely shadowed amethyst among the clumps of heather...', page 558.

Is that enough of the sentence? Its the middle part of the paragraph.

Melindam | 8303 comments Twist, I will. Problems is that I listened to both as audiobooks, but I will get the location for Clouds of Witness - there it was in one of the chapters at the beginning.

Michelle (shelld79) | 288 comments Oh boy, this is going to be tricky. I haven't even been thinking about trying to find that word while reading, ooops.

Lucy Luu (lovelucyluu) | 238 comments mannn, I wished I paid more attention to the future detours more. I remember reading "amethyst" in A Court of Wings and Ruin.

"...The king fired again, the arrow tipped with glimmering amethyst power..." Pg 579 -A Court of Wings and Ruin

Found it for you! Took a little internet digging but that book has a few instances with the word Amethyst in it! :)

Cecily Black | 1805 comments Lucy did you read this during the challenge? I was going to add it to the S/s for you but I can't find a read date?

“La Rôtisserie de la Reine Pédauque, L'Anneau d'Améthyste,
South Wind (our young friend works out very true to type), Chronique d'un Cadet de Coutras (tut-tut, Charles!), Manon Lescaut. H'm! Is there anything else in this room I ought to look at?”- Pg 42 -Clouds of Witness

I am unsure if this can count though because the word is in French :(

Julia (mrsmiawallace) | 23 comments I'm reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, and I'm pretty sure I read something about an amethyst ring a couple of pages ago, I'll look for it again!

Here is my entry for amethyst

There are, as you see, twelve magnificent stones, inscribed with mystical characters. Counting from the left-hand top corner, the stones are carnelian, peridot, emerald, ruby, lapis lazuli, onyx, sapphire, agate, amethyst, topaz, beryl, and jasper."
