Sorry for the delay of a response, my sister borrowed my laptop on her trip without telling me.

Page 558, '...a lovely shadowed amethyst among the clumps of heather...'
Maybe reserve this one for Detour 8 if we do it. Will we need to do the detour as Boa Vista has 8 letters (enough for the team right?)

The Kingmaker's Daughter includes the characters of Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick and King Richard III (of the York line.)
Finally worked that one out. I was going to go with Elizabeth of York and Elizabeth Woodville but realised this book is next in the series.

If not, we can always fall back on good old Shakespeare. :)

I consulted the GR Q&A and realised that I can do it myself -so I just did. :)
So, I finished

***Date and detour details added to spreadsheet.***

If it is listed, it will be under the blurb on the main book page.

Also, I also tried my luck in using Google. The best I can come up with is An Old-Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott which apparently has a father son same name deal.

same! I am driving myself insane

Can two people in the same group read the same book for the detour? I am also reading The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates.

I used "same characters in the book", but it's difficult. Marvel and DC comic information keep popping up.

oh gotcha! I hope you do read the Other Wes Moore! :)

(Doing a happy dance!)
I was struggling big time to find something else and didn't really fancy reading something that I wasn't interested in just for the sake of it.
