From the above book i have the 8th reprint edition which has an ISBN number. Should the ISBN number be added to the edition already at Goodreads or should e new edition entry be made?

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments If a pre isbn work gained an isbn on a later printing and that is then only difference, add the isbn to the existing edition with a librarian note explaining it.

lethe | 16381 comments Does it say 'herdruk', or 'achtste druk'? 'Druk' can mean both 'printing' and 'edition' in Dutch.

Is the cover the exact same? Is it a hardcover or paperback edition? Does it give a year of publication? Because the existing edition on GR says 'First' and the year is 1939, I don't really want to add an ISBN to it.

Flippo | 121 comments The cover looks exactly the same. My edition is "achtste druk" from 1975, hardcover. Same publisher and #pages.

The 1939 edition is indeed the first one. So I guess I should add a new edition for my copy.
