● Synopsis / Information

(view spoiler)[There was a woman who went in holiday on an island somewhere and met a man of (pretty sure here) Italian ethnicity. They spend their vacation together and eventually started dating. She returned to her home and he did as well which was in the same country. A city? Not sure on that. So they continue dating. Her mother is deceased and her father and she lives in an old run down family home which used to be quite the place. She is in her early twenties. Her father was a gambler or got into money making schemes which never worked out. So one day the boyfriend comes home to meet the dad. She goes into another room. Now the Italian stud boyfriend is actually freaking rich, and in magazines and such but the thing is she never recognized him and that is why he likes her so much, she isn't after his money. Unfortunately daddy dearest does recognise him and as soon as they are alone he starts talking business. A scheme for the Italian to invest in. He thinks it was all a lie, that she did recognize him and now introduced her to her money wanting father. He leaves, they break up, she doesn't know a thing and is heartbroken. That was a large theme of his, no one gets his money. Seven months later he's at a party and so is she. She's working there however and.. Seven months pregnant. He does the math and basically blackmails her into marrying him / living with him since she's having his heir. Which was a big surprise for him. Like she goes with him, he gives her money for her home. There was also a scene about her car not wanting to start and he gives her a ride home after this party. She worked as a waitress or maid there.

So fast forward she is in this gorgeous home but they or he can't stand her and eventually the baby comes. It is a boy and there was another scene about him caring for the baby in the morning which upset her since it was her only highlight since most of the time she's miserable because she don't know what happened and they are not cosy. Eventually she there is another scene where she is speaking with his lawyer and this guy is so surprised since she's asking the bare minimum in money to care for the baby. She was never after his stupid money the jerkball >.<

I don't know how it went precisely, she went to live with him and then she left or just had to talk with the lawyer. Either way they now they are getting married. She's still miserable but at the wedding he is super awesome and in the limo ride he apologizes or something... Either way he explains her father came to see him and told him that she never knew, it was his idea and now he's super happy and the marriage is real and she's so freaking happy and the book ends with them in bed. I don't really remember names at all. (hide spoiler)]





I thought I recognized the cover, but when I read the synopsis it wasn't my book when I went through the small pile of mills and boon books so that unfortunate art deco project is the only thing I can think of how it went missing. I never fully read the book. I skimmed........ I got curious and peeked!
