Jess (jessiquie) | 6 comments Hey Guys,
I run a book blog called The Never Ending Bookshelf on which I post a regular mini-interview feature titled "Let's Talk Books". The feature itself is essentially 10-15 questions about your books, bookshelves and what book you brought last etc and I feature authors, bloggers and readers as part of the feature.

I was wondering if there was anyone in here who might like to take part in the feature?

I post one each Friday usually and I include a short bio and links to all relevant websites, blogs, and purchase links etc and have found I tend to get a lot of hits on these posts.

Steve Haberman | 4 comments Hi Jess,
I've released recently an atmospheric, topical French murder mystery you might want to review or mention. Here's a sketch of it:

Paris, France: dark with fog, riots over police killings, and Far Right demagogues.
Here state criminal investigator, Stanislas Cassel, grandson of a French propagandist for the Nazis during WWII, works at the Palace of Justice. Ashamed of his family's infamy, he avoids anything political. Instead he absorbs himself solving small crimes. Little does he suspect the life-changing shock awaiting him when he looks into the bizarre murder of a pensioner, who seemed to have lived an uneventful life. "Murder Without Pity," by Steve Haberman, a mystery thriller for today's turbulent, dangerous times!

Complimentary ebook review copy of "Murder Without Pity" available.

Thanks,
Steve Haberman

Hey Saqib,
I'm pm-ing you the questions now. I'd love to have you on the blog. Thank you so much for responding so quickly and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply (work has been crazy and I've had little to do anything other than sleep outside of it!).

On second thought, I can't work out how to send you a pm, so I'm adding the questions here for you to answer when you get the chance. Thanks for agreeing to be part of the feature!

What are you currently reading?

What was the last book you bought?

Do you prefer to read books in print or electronically?

What do your bookshelves look like? Do you have an organisation system (genre, colour, author…) or are you just happy to go with the flow?

How often do you read?

Describe what you would expect to find in your dream book?

How do you choose what to read next?

So you’ve started a book and discover it’s not for you. Are you more likely to discard it or finish it?

If you could read any book again, for the first time, what book would you choose?

What is about books that appeals to you so much? What is your favourite part about reading?

Can you tell us a bit about your writing style. Are you a pantser or a plotter? Do you prefer to write in 1st or 3rd person? Are you an early riser writer or a late night owl writer?

Was there any particular book that inspired you to start writing?

Do you have any advice to other writers out there?

And lastly, what are you currently working on?
