Jalaj Jha (jalajjha) | 5 comments What is the policy/practice for combining two books with different names, one being the old title under which the book existed in past.

To elaborate please refer https://www.tablegroup.com/books/enga...
"The Truth About Employee Engagement' was originally published as "The Three Signs of a Miserable Job". I accessed both books on Safari online and found it to be the very same book, i.e. same content and TOC/index, just a change of name.

Patrick Lencioni
The Three Signs of a Miserable Job: A Management Fable About Helping Employees Find Fulfillment in Their Work
The Truth About Employee Engagement: A Fable About Addressing the Three Root Causes of Job Misery

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments If the author name has changed between editions:

1. Original name is first author for BOTH editions
2. Second edition gets a second author, which is the cover author.

If there is no change in the author name, then just a simple combine with a note to indicate that the title has changed between editions.

I've left it for you to do, but shout if you're not sure what you're doing :)

Jalaj Jha (jalajjha) | 5 comments Thanks Emy, Since the old title itself has 20+ editions, currently I have left both titles grouped as different books with a librarian note on old title mentioning the change of title.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments If the content is the same, then they should be combined.
