SOLVED. Young adult book from 80's with name Lola in it (I think). [s]

I remember reading a paperback novel from the library when I was in middle school I believe, so that would be late 80's, early 90's. My recollection is very vague but the name Lola always sticks in my mind when I think about the book. Maybe there's another name that is very close to "Lola". And I feel that is, or was in, the title. Again a vague memory but I think it had to do with a family of siblings that had to raise themselves. I think the oldest is a boy that takes on the father role. I think about this book every so often and would love to find it again. Does my excellent recall jog anyone's memory?? Thanks!!
