Lisa--I may read it with you. I've been trying to finish a book for days and days and I'm still just at 35%. Seriously, if you're slogging through a book and it's taking that long AND you keep getting pissed off at the errors, should you just DNF it? I'm really considering it!
Oh Nay - please join me. Don't leave me out here on the island all by myself with this book if Michelle doesn't come back to me. I'll be in here spoilering only myself, and that would just look dumb!!!
OK, so I'm going to try to read as much of this other book as I can, and I'll start From Rags with you tomorrow. You know I'm a buddy read junkie!! 🙃Let me know if you start early, Lisa!!
I'm not starting early, Nay - I'm going to try with all my might to finish Thoughtless first. I just had a Kellan mini-swoon moment. There may be a little hope that this is saved for me :) I can wait until Thursday to start if you want more time. I'm in no hurry...especially since I think I lost Michelle :(
I am struggling to get into this. I have a hard time with some of the words that are very British or sumpfin. I am sure I will settle in and get past it. Is it just me?
I just went back and looked at the book as couldn't remember it and I rated it high! Yeah reading the first chapters it does have a lot of British words - I obviously didn't have a problem with that lol
Me too, Lisa! But for me it's not because of the British stuff--I actually enjoy reading British and Aussie books. I'm just having trouble getting into the story, but I'm only at 7%. I'm going really give it a try this morning and see how it goes.
Okay, I looooove Jaxxon. She is one unapologetic bitch and her exchange with Richie is hilarious!!
At 24%, and I don't get that I'm supposed to feel their love that stands the test of time and that he loved her like the sun orbited her when they were 14 and 16 and suddenly they are thrown together and he's gotta have her. I need some backstory with teeth if you want me to believe that!!! I get that she had a crush on him...heck, I think we all know the pain and angst and rush of our first crush, but I just ain't feeling it.
I'm DNFing at 28% guys. I'm just not feeling it and buying the relationship. Sorry :(

I HATE to DNF. I absolutely hate giving up. So you know it had to be bad....as proof, I flippin finished Thoughtless!!!
Which saddens me even more...
No biggie, Lisa. My dad came by today, so I'm still at just 9%. I'm going to keep going to see what I think.
