Leah wrote: "May 1, Monday: How was your weekend?"Busy, but I got a lot done around the house, so I'm happy with it.
Leah wrote: "May 1, Monday: How was your weekend?"It was cold and rainy here so I snuggled up with a good book and got a lot of reading done.

Pretty good .. considering.
Hubby helped a friend (he was our best man) choose an assisted living community. Just in time, as it turned out. His friend's wife died that same day (she was on hospice care with brain cancer).

Leah wrote: "May 2, Tuesday: Do you consider yourself more messy or organized?"It depends. I seem to be messy at home, but organized at work. I have OCD, so my "messy" is very different from others.
Leah wrote: "May 2, Tuesday: Do you consider yourself more messy or organized?"I think of it more as cluttered than messy. I have clutter everywhere but can usually find anything when asked where it is (unless it's my reading glasses).
May 3, Wednesday: If the average human lifespan was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
Leah wrote: "May 2, Tuesday: Do you consider yourself more messy or organized?"I am organized but you wouldn't know it if you came to my house because my husband is a hoarder.
Leah wrote: "May 3, Wednesday: If the average human lifespan was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?"Work less, play more. Perhaps travel more.
Leah wrote: "May 4, Friday: Have you ever played hooky from work?"I have, but I was much younger and didn't have anyone but myself to worry about.
Nope, but I have used "sick days" to go Christmas shopping before losing them at the end of the year.
Skeetor wrote: "Nope, but I have used "sick days" to go Christmas shopping before losing them at the end of the year."I only remember 'playing hooky' once and that was at least 20 years ago. A friend of mine desperately needed help on her farm so I agreed to help her out. So it wasn't a play day. I'm a terrible liar so I can never bring myself to call in when I'm not sick.
Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?"
Probably The Wizard of Oz ... though we watched it only on TV.

Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?"Pollyanna with Hayley Mills. I loved how she got into trouble and how she pulled the town together after she was hurt.
Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?"I think either Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Mary Poppins. I also loved The Wizard of Oz, but I was so scared of the witch and the monkeys.
Leah wrote: "May 4, Friday: Have you ever played hooky from work?"It is so much work to reschedule my clients, that it is almost not worth it. But, once in awhile, when I have several cancellations on the same day (usually a snow storm), I will reschedule the rest and take the day off.
Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?""Parent Trap" I find identical twins so interesting.
Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?"Either Catbalou or The Love Bug
Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?"Cinderella. The one with Leslie Ann Warren. It is one Netflix and I recently got to share it with my 2 granddaughters and they loved it. We were singing the songs for days.
Leah wrote: "May 8, Monday: What was/is your favorite movie as a child?"I have always loved Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
Sorry, it's been a rough couple weeks. Here's to hoping I get back on track!
May 15, Monday: What are you most thankful for today?
May 15, Monday: What are you most thankful for today?
If it is specific to today instead of in general which would be my family, our health etc...I'm most thankful today for having fun things to do today, helping customers at work and going to Italian conversation group tonight.
Leah wrote: "May 18, Thursday: How is your weather?"It's been in the 90s here in Tennessee. It hasn't gotten too muggy yet, though. So we are greatful.
Leah wrote: "May 18, Thursday: How is your weather?"Rainy. Rainy yesterday. Rainy the day before. It does this every year when I need to get busy in my garden. At least the farmers have most of their crops in judging by the way the corn is already popping up and growing like crazy.
Leah wrote: "May 17, Wednesday: What small act of kindness were you once shown that you will never forget?"Apparently no one remembers anything. I will have to think about it.

I am thankful for SPRING! Love it! I can smell flowers and newly cut grass everywhere. Any day I don't have to wear a coat is a blessing.

I was 15, flying by myself for the first time, and had major delays difficulties. I was in the Dallas airport, waiting on line to use a phone (this is back in 1966), crying quietly. An elderly woman and her granddaughter noticed and after I had used the phone to (unsuccessfully) call my parents, the lady took me to a restaurant in the airport, bought me a burger and soft drink and waiting with me until my new flight was called.

Book Concierge wrote: "Friday, May 19: Whose graduation did you last attend?"
For me, it was my niece's graduation from college ... just got back from the long drive to/from Texas to help her celebrate. We'll miss our nephew's high school graduation next week ... couldn't extend the trip that long.

Book Concierge wrote: "Friday, May 19: Whose graduation did you last attend?"Mine! I moved out of state and wasn't around for my nieces graduation. If you ask this question again next year I'll be able to say my daughters!
Book Concierge wrote: "Friday, May 19: Whose graduation did you last attend?"
My college graduation in 2008.

Leah wrote: "May 18, Thursday: How is your weather?"Up in Cleveland right now....85 yesterday, about 55 today!
