Hey! So i think, key word being think, when a sibling becomes the new king or queen, the other siblings are no longer priencesses and princes; they become dukes and dutchesses, or sometimes lords and ladies. The title of princess and prince go to the childern of the current throne holder. I Think lol.

Ah yes. I figured someone smart would ask this lol. Yes, this is technically true but for the sake of this role play, I made it so they remain princes/esses until they are married, then they receive the official title of Duke/Duchess

It's very traditional. The whole women restrictions is actually a big thing in the roleplay, especially when it comes to women being heirs.

I'd say technically it's fine for you to go ahead and make one now, but you just won't have an official claim and may have to change some things once the official claims do go up. If that's okay with you, then go for it!

I dont think all the remaining claims are below 18, at least not from the visiting countries

I can look over the collab lists and double check but im sure if you talk with the other family people claimed then you can do older

How old is older exactly? Old as in you don't want the Widower king of Ireland or the Dowager queen both of which are over 30?


- The Egyptian concubines can be male or female 18+ and don't necessarily have to be banging the pharaoh he just likes to help people out sometimes, including from outside the country so they don't have to be egyptian either
- Any of the non royal claims can be any age
- There's an open English prince that doesn't have to be super young
- there's a russian prince who can definitely be older than 16 cause my kid is the youngest at 16
- looks like there's an indian princess and I'm sure you can ask to make her over 18
- China has a prince and princess that can prolly be over 18
- Nigeria has a prince as well who can prolly be older.

The plan for the group is that when all the foreign royalty claims are completely filled, then we'll add more countries. That gives time for all the details of each family to be figured out so that, when we move onto new countries, we dont have to worry about people having to sift through a ton of old threads if they joined after and there's a claim left on country first listed when the group was first made.
Does that make sense?

I think it may be that people may feel a bit confined by what they can do with their characters and may not want to make a character in that family because of it. It's like telling a creative "you can make your character anything you want...but you have to keep in mind that sibling A had this happen, sibling C had this happen, and and Sibling B caused this to happen. Oh! And their parents were always super sweet and perfect to them. Yeah, so no broken childhoods for your character...hm...but yeah, other than that, free roaming. Oh, no, JK, don't forget that they can't--" You see what I'm saying? People may not want to make character that they don't feel like is actually there's in the end.

But that's just my two sense XD. I get why ya'll don't wanna make more with claims still open. But...what if we cut away the claims that haven't been taken and trade them for a new country or two with smaller families? Just a suggestion!

but to be fair, if a person doesn't want to work with others in a family collab, they're probably not suited to doing a royal family collab lol cause that requires everyone being on the same page XD

Not quite true in my opinion. I dont think that because someone cant make a character feel 'right' to them because of restrictions od a family collab doesnt mean they would be unfit to do a royal fam collab. It just means that family collab isnt for them. It's like in real life; each family is different, and not every person can fit into them. But! My opinion XD. Im happy that youre gonna run what i suggested by Rose! Itd allow for the current families to set everything in stone while allowing new joining members a chance to get into a family that hasnt had so much done for it already, thus making others feel confined and uneasy when it comes to joining the fam.

but yeah its not a bad idea imo, its up to Rose if she wants to wait a little longer or not. I think some of the families haven't really been started, or at least not talked about in the collab threads made but that doesn't mean nothing's been talked about lol

@kiks; Preferably a male older than 21 but definitely younger than 30, I guess it doesn't necessarily have to be a royal male but since the only two claims I have at the moment are non-royals it'd be nice? lol.

Thanks to Kiks for updating me.

I like the idea of removing claims some claims to open up more. To accommodate everyone, I will be removing the unclaimed characters in the visiting claims and adding more.

I cannot promise this will be done soon however. It is finals week for me so I may not be able to add all the new claims until this weekend.

australia was colonised in 1788 by the british, and only became its own nation in 1901. we still have the same royal family as the british, although we have a governor-general who acts on behalf of the queen when signing things.
also australia's history when it comes to genocide and other such things is very complicated and a sensitive topic for indigenous australians
that aside, if you ignore this request am i allowed to write a list of things to avoid/be sensitive about? bc there's a lot

Well, I mean it's claims for now. Not like for history. I mean, I know what you mean, but I mean, it's still a place. An actual country as well. So we can't just leave it out and add the others.

okay so this just a suggestion. please dont think its like against or you something, it's not. it's just my opinion. so i think we should have australia? i mean a few people (including me) already wanted it and claimed characters plus i think, i mean it is a country too. i realize what you mean by the history but we cant just remove it after we already made it? i'm just saying so the mods take this into consideration as well.

First of all, when a moderator tells you to hold off on discussing something for one reason or another, even if it's not me, please listen. This is unnegotiable and I don't want to hear excuses.

Second, this is a fantasy roleplay. All countries that are in the world are available to be claimed when put in the claim topic. It's not meant to offend anybody of any culture, it's just to allow people to use face claims of whoever they'd like. Everything is completely made up, not according to history at all. If this is too much for anyone to handle, and I hate to be this blunt, but you should leave because it won't change.

Just a quick question: would foreign royals be bringing their own servants? I assume they have a choice to do so, but was curious ^-^
and if they do, might I suggest limiting it to guards and maybe an adviser or two, depending on the country maybe?
