Anna, Grey, Jan, Jean, Michelle, Renee, Robin... alright girlies... check in with your statuses on your Pick for Me reads this month!

I am half way thru mine 🙃 sorry it has taken me so long!

message 119: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments I haven't started mine :-/

I'm skipping all challenges in June hoping to catch up!

message 120: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Excuuuuse me--there are still 10-ish days left in the month--that's a whole 1/3! lol

I will be reading my pick RUSH (Rush, #1) by Emma Scott as soon as I finish the End of Day BR--no pressure, right? But if it's as good as everyone says it is, I won't be able to put it down!

message 121: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Nay - you are going to absolutely love Noah. I'm excited for you to read this one!!

message 122: by Leslie (last edited May 22, 2017 05:09AM) (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Nay, I think you will enjoy Rush and it will probably be pretty quick read too. I have to say that Endless Possibilities Endless Possibility (Rush, #1.5) by Emma Scott really compliments the story...so if you love Rush, you will want to read that one too. But it's also a quick read, so no biggie waiting til end of month.

Tell Grey to hold her horses! Hee hee 😃

message 123: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments My challenges are pretty easy. Since I am in a stupid book slump everything is a DNF.

Grrrrrrrr! 😠

message 124: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments I haven't completed either of my challenges either. End of Day BR on Wednesday will complete one of them. But still have to read my "try again" book.

Leslie, sorry you've been struggling to find that perfect book! It will happen eventually!

I started It Ends With Us then squirreled to a bunch of library holds that came in at the same time. I hope to finish it this week. I haven't started my try again book yet.

message 127: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Grey--I was just kidding! 😜 Remind away! The way my memory is lately, I definitely need it!

message 128: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments I was only teasing Grey! You are doing a good job moderating the slackers. Hee hee

message 129: by Ela (last edited May 22, 2017 12:23PM) (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Oh oH ohhhhhhhhh! I don't know if I posted this but Hausfrau WAS NOT the book for me, sadly 1 star.

message 130: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) Umm. I've stalled on mine at 39%. It's You (It's You #1) by Katy Regnery It's just not really grabbing me. It's very slow. I mean, isn't it a damn shifter book? And has anyone shifted yet? Nooooooo. Oh well, May's not over yet.....

message 131: by Anna (new)

Anna Penwick (annapenwick) | 166 comments Finished It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover 4 stars. Wow...that was really heavy. I need to read something fluffy next.

message 132: by [deleted user] (new)

Jean, I haven't been on this forum for a bit, but I want to offer my condolences.

Anna have you read Sustained yet? Maryse is loving it. It's light and funny and clever, but not cheesy crap. Might be just what you're craving.

I haven't read Sustained. Emma Chase's heroes tend to not work for me. I'm reading At Peace by KA at the moment. It's not fluffy but I'm loving it.

Actually I'm not normally an Emma Chase fan either but I loved that one. You could put it on the tbr.....

I loved At Peace too.

message 140: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I finished RUSH (Rush, #1) by Emma Scott **4 stars!

Leslie | 2430 comments Nay, glad you enjoyed it. :)

message 142: by Jean (new)

message 143: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Nay, what Jean said.
