Let's play a new game. You tell people one random fact about yourself, and then the next person tries to tell a fact that is more unbelievable, but true. Let's see what kinds of crazy things people have done in their lifetimes.

I have... flown over 20 times and I'm only 16.

message 2: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments I have saved someone from committing suicide over 15 times. the first was when I was 11.

message 3: by Aly (new)

Aly | 22 comments I love to hold and hatch Praying Mantis but don't like many other bugs at all. 200 babies run on my hands at once.

Wow. Kenzie, that's amazing. You deserve a medal or something. Aly, I think I would freak out if I had 200 of anything on me anywhere.

Groovy, you got one for us?

message 5: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments no medal. when it's your family members, you do anything in your power to keep them safe.

First of all, David, I'm liking your new Avatar:)

Good for you, Kenzie!

And Aly, freaking out already!!

Second of all, you asked for it. Here's my first unbelievable truth:

When I was very young, I hid under a bed while a woman was lying on the floor with blood coming out of her head, and a pair of legs standing over her. I know, right????? Unbelievable, but you asked. And that's only one.

message 7: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments Groovy, Why?

message 8: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
LOL! Guess I should have started with something lighter, huh? Sorry:)

message 9: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments No, its interesting, but why did you stay under the bed?

message 10: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
Because the man standing over her was the one who hit her, and I didn't want him to know I was there, I was scared. I don't remember the whole ordeal because I was so young, but that part has stayed with me all my life.

I might put this in a book one day:)

message 11: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments It sounds interesting. I would love to know why you were under the bed, but if you don't remember that doesn't help. haha

message 12: by David (new)

David Kummer | 636 comments Mod
Dang. That's... Well, it's good for a book, I'll just say that.

I don't know how unbelievable this is, but I have 8 siblings, 5 of them under the age of 5. And only one parent, so my mom's doing it by herself. That's called a superhero, folks.

message 13: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
Congratulations to your Mom, David. I would shake her hand if I could. 5 under the age of 5? Oh, my goodness. I hope you and your other siblings are giving her the help and support she needs, Annnnd, you've got a wonderful Mother's Day gift for her:)

Are you going to be a pilot one day?

message 14: by David (new)

David Kummer | 636 comments Mod
Um I don't believe so. I'm not a good enough driver

message 15: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
So, you can fly a plane but can't drive well? Did I misunderstand what you said by "flown", and only being 16?

Wow, that is a superhero! 8 kids is a lot to take care of especially being only one person! Woman power for sure at work there!

David Kummer | 636 comments Mod
I meant flown as in being the passenger on a plane. I thought the number was surprising, for my age. Sorry for the confusion Groovy!

And I have to agree with you, Aly. It's crazy how awesome she is.

I didn't have a mother, I honestly grew up with the Wicked Witch of the West. A mother's love is alien to me. That's my number 2 unbelievable fact. David, please tell your mom how much I admire her. Judging by you, she's doing a great job!

I'll be back with unbelievable fact number 3:) I want to read interesting facts about others. Come on, everybody, I'm waitin'!

message 19: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments I was raped when I was 6 by my biological father. then at age 22 I was sexually assaulted at the hotel I worked at while on the clock. I never just justice for either one.

Wow, Kenzie. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Although you never really heal from such traumas, you can keep it from ruling you as a person. I hope you're managing that quite well.

I vowed years ago that I wasn't going to let how I was raised, or the traumas I had to experience get the best of me, justice or no justice. I hope you're just as determined.

Here's my number 3 unbelievable fact:

When I was very young, there was a lady in the small, country town where I grew up, who ran a salon in the back of her house. She would do our hair. But to get to the back of the house, we had to pass through her funeral parlor in the front. Every week there would be a different body lying in the casket as we went through, and I still remember them as if it were yesterday--even the 1 year-old baby boy.

I'm not scarred by it:) Not me!!!

message 21: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments I don't do dead bodies. I just can't.

I am a strong person because of What happened to me. will not let that get in my way.

message 22: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
We had no choice. If we wanted our hair "did", we had to past those bodies--LOL!

And good for you for being who you are!!!

message 23: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments I just wouldn't get my hair done haha.

And thanks!

That's definitely a crazy fact Kenzie and I'm so sorry to hear it! There's not much I can say that Groovy hasn't already, but you seem to be well-off. I think you're a great person for everything you do.

Groovy, that's one of those life stories you'll never forget! Crazy tale. I've never heard of a hair salon being in the back of a funeral parlor.

message 25: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
I wish I'd never heard or experienced it either, David. This is a "You just can't make this kind of stuff up," crazy ordeal:)

Too true, too true. I'm doing yard work for a local family with over 100 acres and I'm just waiting to find something creepy in one of the houses. Not too creepy, though. There's nobody near enough to hear me scream.

message 27: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
Oh my goodness. I LOVE stuff like that. Remember the corn field in Jeepers Creepers? Stay away from there. Seriously, David. Look around, and stay alert.

message 28: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments I love jeepers creepers!

How many houses do you take care of'?

message 29: by David (new)

David Kummer | 636 comments Mod
6 houses and a dozen barns and some fence line has to be weed eaten. Another 40 or 50 acres have to be mowed, and then on top of that I weed eat and mow the school when I get time. The school isn't so creepy unless it's empty.

All by yourself? Wow, give me land, lots of land. I would love to have that job to do all by myself:)

Anyway, it seems everyone on this forum are too young to be parents. So, I'll just say:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOUR MOTHERS:)

I hope you all show them a good time Sunday!

message 31: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments I've got full custody over my niece when I was 21. she is 5 now.

happy mother's days to everyone and their mother's as well!

message 32: by Groovy (new)

Groovy Lee | 1463 comments Mod
I stand corrected:) Happy Mother's Day to you as well, Kenzie:)

message 33: by David (new)

David Kummer | 636 comments Mod
Happy Mother's Day everybody!

message 34: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie | 36 comments Thanks. But I was saying it more as, a little fact that most people would be surprised about.

I'm a single person (boyfriend soon to be more, but not living together) full time student, gave 2 jobs (one full time), a 5 year old niece that I got custody over 3 years ago. And I'm only 26.

my life is a mess, but wouldn't tread it for anything.
