You know what I've noticed?? All the adults around here read SO SLOWLY, but all the teenagers must read quickly because I get the YA books a whole lot faster than the others. I'm number 7 already, I think I was number 8 yesterday. maybe I wont have to wait too long! :)

And as for Uglies, I really liked it for a ya read. I've been studying for finals so it was exactly what I needed for a nice break. Tally got on my nerves in the beginning but I liked the way it ended... I have a feeling Pretties might be more annoying though, but I definitley want to finish the series.

Just finished Pretties. Wow, what a book. Had me stuck to it over the past 48hrs. This is a great 2nd book for this series. Shows you how Tally and the gang start thinking for themselves and all the trouble they get into lol. Can't wait to see what happens next in the next installment.

I would say 8/10 again for me.

BTW The most annoying thing is their "jargon" in Pretties it drove me nuts! But other than it was a good read.

I finished up on Vacations from Hell and I gave it 4/5 stars. I gave extra points for the colloboration!

I am now reading The Xibalba Murders An Archeological Mystery. I love Mayan history so I am crossing my fingers on this one!

My kids started saying "yeah, that was scary-making" and other takes on the slang. pretty funny. I loved how the books take every position to the extreme, or fully logical conclusion. Good dinner table discussion material

Yes, and I can't wait for #3. I got lucky and read the first one only a month before #2 came out. I have a much longer wait this time.
