I actually love getting those messages! They remind me to check the thread to see the new round (and spare the digging through the threads)

It is sent to all members of the group anyway, regardless if they joined or not. Then they can leave, LOL

I don't think I could have stopped myself from saying 'Here's my suggestion: Leave the group.'
I mean seriously! If you don't like them, and don't come to the group - Surely the obvious thing to do is leave the group?? It's not hard!

I'm sorry, but we have a challenge going on that has a new round up every 24 hours. people want to know when the next round is up so that they don't miss it. The message is intended for people taking part in the challenge, I am not spaming your mailbox to annoy you or to interest you. Either delete the message, or leave the group.

I also was in a group where we got a lot of messages that didn't interest me so I just decided to leave, no point to complain to the mods about me not being interested in the group, lol <.<.
I also love your messages. They remind me I need to start searching XD.

Yes. The obvious thing to do is leave the group! I was actually looking forward to those messages to be updated.. At least your message to her is polite. :P

I actually didn't join the challenge, but I've been watching and enjoying the complaints as you cannot find things (whoever said that this thread is only interesting when it's a tough find and people are frustrated is so very true. Sorry for finding amusement in your frustrations, no, not really :D .).I also look at the link in the message when I have time. It is very difficult to not start searching...
So...I just wanted you to know I'm not in the least bothered by the mail messages for the challenge. I agree, I just delete them when I'm not interested, but I would've loved them if I was participating. Ideally, only participants or interested parties would get reminders, but alas, that capability isn't facilitated in GRs mail messaging. Sarah, I think you handled that very well. And it was probably just their frustration and ignorance showing.

Marla, it's okay that you find our pain funny LOLI do have to say, that I'm really invested in this challenge, as it is the one I'm doing the better at. I look at the leaderboards of all the others and I get depressed.

Sarah, you are far too polite. I hate when people go around complaining about stuff that can be easily fixed. You don't want to get messages and are annoyed, leave. You don't like somebody's review, stop reading. No one is forcing you. I get lots of massages from my other group and instead of annoyance, it makes me feel pretty important. :D
If not for those messages I would never remember it. Even with the massage I forgot the first round. :D
I have found two before I got a headache. Still need to look for number 2 and 3!

I truly doubt there will be that many people tied at the end. I think that there is going to be a couple of nasty rounds in the next days.

If there are several people tied for 1st place they'll all win a prize ☺
There are likely to be quite a few random prizes as well as people have spent so much time on this challenge!
It's been hard but it's the first time I have actually been able to spend time on it. Usually I'm super busy with classes, work, internships but I have the summer off with just work and some studying.

I end up feeling really guilty over the really nasty rounds though! I've got a few that are pretty darn impossible but I'm holding them back! I really hate it when everybody gets stuck ☹

I am impressed with everyone's success and so very glad that I didn't participate. It's much more fun to vicariously play. July is a killer month for me, so I would either be very stressed or something would get left half done and knowing me, it would be work. :D

Found it! Should have gone to Sarah's shelf straight away. She has the whole GR in there. :)
