P.S. I Still Love You
question
Peter or John?

I'm so torn between Peter and John. I fell in love with Peter in book one but he really irritated me in book two. I can see why Peter did the things he did but he went about it the wrong way when it came to the Genevieve thing. Also the fact that if Laura Jean hadn't gone out to the hot tub that night he would have just gotten right back with gen. John seems like such a sweet guy but I don't really feel like I got to know his character enough. I kinda wish Laura Jean would have given him a chance.
Completely agree. I really love the idea of Lara Jean and Peter being together but part of me wished we could have gotten more time to meet John. Im still really glad that Peter got to stay with Lara Jean but being honest with myself John would have definately been a beter boyfriend.
And yes i disliked the way Peter handled the situation with Gen. Like its ok for you and your ex girlfriend who had been sleeping together to spend time together but Lara Jean can't hang out with an old crush??? Not to mention he was keeping secrets from Lara Jean which is a sure way of bringing problems to any relationship.

I can't decide between the two, Peter K. is such a sweetie and I really like him in all three books. That said, I would have also been fine if Lara Jean decided she wanted to pursue a relationship with John. :)
The most important thing to me was that Jenny Han made the decision understandable for me. I totally got why Lara Jean decided the way she did and I like that she showed, that a relationship requires work and communication (I mean, it would have been better to talk about their problems and misunderstandings before breaking up but still). But both of them grew during the books (especially in the third) and became even better and more adorable as a couple!

John 100%. I was also a little conflicted at first just because I remember liking Peter so much in the first book. But, the way he acted in this one made me really hate him. And, to me, John is Lara Jean's knight-in-shining-armor.
I would choose John. John is so sweet and so gentle around Laura unlike Peter, he is so pervert! No kidding
Peter all the way. I think that John would be a great friend like Lucas but I don't think he is boyfriend worthy. Peter gives a Lara Jean a taste of reality. He also treats her like a princess but also. John is a nice guy but he would baby Lara Jean to much. GO PETER.
I've got to go with John - I think his character is more open, appealing, and generally a better fit for Lara Jean. There seems to be too much tension with Peter (in a bad way). He handled the situation with Genevieve in a very dodgy way, which doesn't speak of good praises for the continuation of their relationship. John was nicer too, I think, I generally preferred him.
I love John so much! He is so much more thoughtful and has a lot more in common with Lara Jean. I think they would've been way better together, but we all know Lara Jean only has eyes for Peter, "the handsomest of the handsome boys."
I loved Lara Jean being with Peter but at the same time, i thought John was really nice as well. Even better than Peter. It’s kinda mean but while reading the second book, I really wished Lara Jean could just dump Peter and start dating John. I was really pissed about the way Peter treated Genevieve about the whole video thing and everything else and I just wanted Lara Jean to be with a nicer, more romantic boy. I wish the book would’ve ended with Lara Jean dating John but i still like the book this way
TEAM JOHN! I thought Peter was pretty cool in the first book, but then he was a complete jerk in the second. He treated the Gen situation wrong and put his girlfriend second. I know that John would have probably done the opposite. John is so sweet and cute and funny and he does not deserve Lara Jean but I still wanted them together. I'm really annoyed that she got with Peter in the end. I'm not reading book three.

I 100% agree with you. John was so sweet and kind to Lara Jean and I thought Peter was a complete jerk.
Team John, but apparently you can't choose your feelings~ She even says she would pick him, so if the letters never sent out and never fake dated Peter, then she could've ended up with John (since he's perfect). But, she might've never reconnected with John if the letters didn't get sent either? Lol, everything happens for a reason I guess.
Still, team John.
Still, team John.
