hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae arrived with a nervous smile on her face. She was wearing a black and white baseball tee, jeanshorts that showed off her beautiful legs, and cherry red doc martens with a black baseball cap on her head that read 'Scum's Wish' and a red/blue/black flannel tied around her waist. In conclusion, she looked absolutely amazing and guys and girls alike stared at her as they walked past where she stood leaning against a lamp-post outside the arcade.

Her lunch with Mana went amazing and she got to learn a bit more about the girl, so she couldn't have been more excited for their arcade date. As she waited for the girl, she drank from her Diet Coke bottle through a red and white striped straw. The girl was stylish from head-to-toe and that included her damn drink.

(I literally googled outfits, and chose the one I liked best for Mana's outfit tbh)

Mana wore a pastel blue top, with a small pocket on the front, and black skinny jeans, as well as a pair of black and white converse shoes. Her hair looked how it usually did, except she had attempted at straightening the flared out ends of her hair. She was wearing a small black crossbody purse, with a small wallet inside, so she could pay for whatever the two planned to do. She looked around for Sanae, and finally spotted her. In Mana's opinion, the girl looked stunning. She walked up to her, and could feel her face heating up a little. Maybe I did go a little too casual on the outfit? She thought to herself. She had decided not to wear too many accessories, mainly because they annoyed her. "Hey." She said a bit nervously. She gave her a small wave, and then put her arm back to her side.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae beamed when she saw the girl and instantly walked up to her, which surprised most of the people watching, though they had likely expected her to be taken. "Hey, cutie! I love your outfit! You ready to go?" she asked, though she had already put her arm lovingly around the girl's shoulders. She had a cute, cheeky smile on her face, and her eyes glowed. "Oh! Do you want some?" Innocence shimmered in her eyes when she offered for Mana to have a sip of her drink.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana looked at Sanae's outfit. "I like yours as well, and yes! I am." She said, and looked at some of the people watching. She had a slightly confused expression, and then assumed that maybe they knew Sanae. She smiled a bit, and was about to decline, but then decided against it. "Sure, thank you." She said, holding her hand out for the drink.

((I apologize if this rp reply is a bit jumbled!))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae smiled and went to hand her the drink until something flashed behind them. It was not an unfamiliar flash—it was a camera flash, for certain. She tensed and then led Mana into the arcade, not even bothering to hide her face with the brim of her cap. Once they were in the darkness of the arcade, she handed Mana the bottle. "Sorry, Manacchi. I may be used to being in the spotlight because of my family, but I can never get used to people taking pictures." She looked truly sorry. She even fiddled with her hands and couldn't meet Mana's gaze.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana walked with Sanae into the arcade, and then sighed. "I don't think I'd be able to get used to it either." She said. "Don't be sorry." She took the bottle, and took a small sip. She handed the bottle back to Sanae, and took her hands. "Lets go play a game okay?" She started, trying to change the subject for Sanae's sake. "You said you'd beat me at skeeball I recall?" She added. Mana taking Sanae's hands in her own was one of the first actual moves she had made so far.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae blushed when her hands were grabbed but then nodded and smiled brightly. She took the coke bottle back when it was handed to her and then walked over to the ticket machine, still holding her date's hand. "I have money, so don't worry about anything, 'kay?" She set down the bottle and used her other hand to deal with the money—she didn't want to let go of Mana's hand.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana held her hand still, looking at the ticket machine. "Are you sure? I brought money as well.." She said, looking at the prices. She looked down at Sanae's hands noticing she was using only one to get the money. She didn't think much of it, and then looked back at the machine, excited to play some games.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae peeked at Mana from the corner of her eye, and upon seeing the excitement on her face, she smiled brightly. She collected a lot of tokens and, with Mana's help, put them in a plastic cup for them to use. This was after she threw out her empty coke bottle though—she had amazingly chugged what was left before doing so. Then she led Mana, whose hand was still being held, over to the motocycle game. "I actually have a motorcycle, so this'll be a piece of cake!"

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana walked with her to the motorcycle game. "Wait, really?" She asked. "You have a motorcycle? That is so cool.." She said, and looked at the screen of the game. A small preview of it played, and showed the amount of coins needed. "Only two." She said, and then looked back at Sanae. "Whoever gets the highest score will win okay?" She asked, seeing as there was one motorcycle.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae chuckled and nodded. "Yup! I actually rode it here! I have an extra helmet, if you wanna ride to the restaurant. I was planning on walking you, but if you want...?" she suggested. She mounted the fake bike with skill, balancing like a pro. "Babe, I hope you're ready to taste defeat!"

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

"Surprisingly, I've never been on a real motorcycle.." Mana said, wanting to ride it to the restaurant. "That sounds fun." She said, and then watched Sanae with surprise. "I refuse to taste defeat." She replied, watching her. She blushed a bit when she was called Babe, but it wasn't at all noticeable. Mana sort of regretted challenging Sanae, mainly because she had horrible balance.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) The way Mana mounted the motorcycle made Sanae worry over her balance and if she was going to fall off. She put the coins into the games and she went along with each turn easily. Unfortunately, she messed up a few times when she found herself consumed with concern for Mana, which caused her to look over at the girl repeatedly.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana held onto the handlebars of the motorcycle tightly, and started the game. She started off horribly, almost falling, but then started to get the hang of it. Sort of. Every so often, the bike would tilt, and she'd have to use her foot to kick off from the ground and regain balance. A few people walking by chuckled, but didn't stick around to watch or anything, thankfully.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae easily ended up winning the game, but she didn't brag about it and celebrate, as she was so distracted with Mana's safety that she only just scored higher than the girl. "Manacchi, you pick this time," she suggested after bombarding the girl with questions about her possibly being hurt.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana reassured her that she was fine, and that the game was fun so it didn't matter if she almost fell a bunch of times. She looked around the arcade, and spotted a zombie shooter game. She pointed at it, "Lets play that one." She said, starting to lead Sanae towards it.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae smiled warmly down at the girl, followng her over to the game's machine. She wouldn't let Mana know that her father took her shooting every summer since the year she turned ten. It may have been a screen on a crappy arcade game, but there was no mistaking her aim, not to mention her familiarity when she picked up the gun.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana picked up the gun, and aimed it. She glanced at Sanae every so often, surprised that she wasn't having a hard time playing, or even simply holding the gun. She took some coins out and put them into the game. The screen counted down from three, and Mana started to play.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae giggled when the first level gave them easy targets to shoot. When the next came around, she easily shot every zombie. It stayed with way for her until the fourth level. When the zombies became harder to shoot, she grew incredibly serious, tensing her arms and making her expression blank. Only when the game delcared her the winner did she turn to Mana with a happy laugh and a huge smile.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana was doing fine at first, she shot them all easily, but when it got to one of the later levels, she became overwhelmed. She missed most of her shots, but you could still tell she was having fun. "Good game." She said, smiling back at her.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae laughed and put the gun back, ignoring the eyes she could feel on her backside. "How 'bout you pick a game where you think I can't kick your butt?" she teased. Despite her taunting tone, her eyes shone with excitement and affection. This date was no mistake, and she knew that now with how much fun Mana was having.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana nodded excitedly and looked around. She saw an old street fighter game, and pointed. "I'll win on that one." She said, confidently. She didn't notice anyone staring at Sanae, possibly because she was having too much of a good time.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae smirked and grabbed the coin cup before sliding an arm around Mana's shoulders, allowing the girl to lead her over to the game. "Are you sure, Manacchi? I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember," she boasted jokingly. She had truly only started in middle school, when Hanabi got friends that took up her free time—not that she would tell Mana that. Instead she continued smirking and placed her fingers on the controls with familiarity. "I come to this arcade to game very often, Manacchi. Are you sure you're still confident you'll win?" In truth, she only came here for the skeeball—she needed something heavy to throw when she got angry.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana lead her to the game, and nodded. "Definitely. I am quite familiar with each and every character, and their moves and such. You may spend a lot of time here, but I'm still confident that I'll win." She said, smiling still. She chose a character at random, because she didn't have a favorite. Mana liked them all. She waited for Sanae to choose a character, and then looked at the map choices. "I'll give you the advantage to choose any map you want." She taunted a bit.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae rolled her eyes, chose a character she was familiar with, and then chose the map. A win for Mana was easier than she had thought. Despite the fact that Sanae was good, she rarely played street fighter, and the result was Mana winning. Luckily, when Sanae lost, she laughed at herself and congradulated her date.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

"Thank you." Mana smiled happily. "That was fun." She said. "Now you choose a game." She added, looking around. Even though there were newer games in the Street Fighter franchise, Mana tended to play the older ones. She was a bit surprised at how good Sanae was good at the games in the arcade.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) "Hmm.... Man, I don't know... How about the basketball hoop? There's also a small bowling rink in the back. And a rollerskating rink. I like rollerskating, but it's not a game," Sanae said, pouting a bit at the end and running a hand through her hair. "How about you choose? I don't mind following you."

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well..I'm not good at sports, we could do bowling, and lastly, I've never roller skated in my life." Mana said. "I'd most likely fail at trying to do so, but, if you'd like we can do that." She added, wanting to make Sanae happy as well. She hoped she wasn't being super indecisive, because she usually was when others asked her to make a choice. "Maybe..you can teach me how to roller skate..?" She asked shyly.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae was about to agree to bowling when Mana spoke again, causing the girl to blush and then giggle evilly. "Of course, Manacchi," she agreed, wrapping her arm around the girl's shoulders and then leading her toward the rollerskating rink, the coin cup in her free hand. "You'll love it!" She couldn't hide her smirk at the thought of helping Mana.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana walked alongside her, noticing the evil giggle and smirk. She was starting to have second thoughts about this, but Mana did want to be able to skate. She wasn't the best person to try and teach something like roller skating, but she planned to try her best. She looked around as they got closer to the rink, and realized that the music in the arcade was coming from there. She then glanced at the multicolored strobe slights, and squinted slightly. "So bright.." She muttered to herself.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae scowled at the music choice, muttering something about Panic! At The Disco under her breath. Then she led Mana to the counter where one could rent out rollerskates and winked flirtatiously at the guy who stood behind the counter. He simply scowled at her. "Ecchan, what was the wink for?" Sanae pouted and huffed. "B-but! You've done it befoooore!!! Just give us free skates this once??? Mine are back there anyway, so we just need some for Manacchi!!!" she whined in response. The boy rolled his eyes at her but then sighed. "Whatever." Sanae squealed in delight and grinned brightly. "Best cousin evvvvverrrr!" The only response from the boy was, "Ah, shut up," as he looked through the skates after being told Mana's size.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana smiled as she picked up the skates. "Thank you." She said to the boy, and then walked with Sanae over to a bench to put them on. She untied, and then slid off the shoes she had, and afterwards, put on the skates. She went to stand up quickly how she normally would, but the wheels rolled, causing her to lose her balance. She quickly sat back down, and laughed a small bit. "Wow, this seems kind of hard." She said.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) (The rollerskates are the ones with four wheels, which means that she would have better balance than with rollerblades)

Sanae sat at the bench beside Mana when she had picked up her rich purple, sparkly rollerskates. Putting them on and tying them tightly, she stood easily and then held her hand out for Mana. "There is a brake thingy in the front that you should use if you aren't comfortable standing. Only put one down though."

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

((Ahh, I don't know why but I was thinking about rollerblades honestly lol))

Mana stood up, and then put one of the breaks down. She then stood normal, and looked at her. "Okay, lets do this." She said, grabbing Sanae's hands. She glanced down at Sanae's skates, and raised an eyebrow. "Do you come here often?" She asked her curiously.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) (I'm going to make Elliot a bully at first, if that's alright. Not officially a bully, just... He's just an asshole)

Sanae giggled and nodded. "Yup! That's my cousin working at the counter. My dad's company owns this arcade, and so I usually just get coins for free, but I wanted to have a normal date with you here, so I thought the coins were part of the experience. Although, the workers let me play on the skeeball for as long as I like whenever, so... But firstly, skating!"

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

((I'm totally fine with that, lol))

Mana nodded. "That is so cool." She said, looking around. "Oh, you didn't have to do that, Ecchan." She added, still appreciating it though. They stepped onto the rink, and Mana watched as people skated around together. There were a few people standing near the edges of the rink, talking to each other, but they quickly started skating again.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae's family name and her face being in the papers was the obvious explanation for the people that constantly stared at her, not to mention her looks and fashion sense. "C'mon, Manacchi. It's not that hard. And once you get the hang of it, it's fun!" She helped roll the girl near the middle of the rink, holding her hands. "One foot in front of the other, but...different."

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana felt sort of bad for Sanae, because it didn't seem like she enjoyed being in any sort of spotlight, or the fact that people stared at her. Mana started a bit timidly, one foot in front of the other, as Sanae had said. She started to go faster, but as she did, she held onto Sanae's hands tighter. She wasn't afraid of falling, but she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of Sanae and everyone else. Every so often she'd glance to the side, and even saw people skating backwards. She found that amazing.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae, in fact, had to skate backwards to help Mana move, and to say she was a pro at it was an understatement. "Manacchi, don't look at your feet, okay? Just...look at me! I've got you, and I won't let you fall," she reassured, her eyes warm.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana looked back at her, and nodded. "How are you good at this?" She asked, though she assumed that it was lots of practice. She tried her best to keep her gaze off of her feet, but every so often she couldn't help but glance at the. She was glad that Sanae was there to help, otherwise she'd probably fall. She picked up her speed.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) "You don't need to go so fast, babe. Relax. Just make sure you can handle your footwork," Sanae teased gently. "And I'm good at this because I practice a lot... I come here often." She seemed a bit sad when she said that but then smiled brightly and resumed her lesson.

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana blushed a tad bit, but it was hidden in the darkness of the rink. "Alright." She said, and then nodded. "I see." She noticed how Sanae seemed sad, but didn't know how to ask about it. After all, she didn't want to ruin the atmosphere, or the date. She was starting to get the hang of it, but she did slow down a little.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae smiled warmly at the girl and praised her as she progressed. Once Mana grasped the concept, she wrapped her arm around the girl's waist and then skated along slowly with her. That was, until Fallout Boy's Centuries began playing in the background. She wasn't alone in her excitement, as several people in the rink began singing along when she did.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana smiled, more confident that she wouldn't fall now, and skated alongside Sanae, trying to keep a fast, but not too fast, or slow pace. She had heard of the song, but didn't know it word for word, so she just listened to Sanae and the others singing. She was one of the few in the rink who stayed quiet, and continued to skate. She smiled at Sanae as she sang.

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

((When you said Elliot will probably be a bully at first, what do you have in mind for that? If you don't mind me asking ^^))
((Either way I'm fine with it lol))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) Sanae skated along with Mana calmly, despite how the song pumped her up. However, when a slow song began to play, she blushed. "Um... Manacchi, you don't wanna skate to a slow song do you? M-maybe we should l-leave?" Partners started skating adorably together, but she couldn't help feeling shy.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) (I mean that he doesn't specifically target him, but he is still a jerk)

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Mana looked around at the partners, and felt a smile on her face. "No, lets skate together." She said, taking Sanae's hands again. Being with Sanae made her come out of her introverted shell, which a good thing. She used her break to stop skating, so she could look at Sanae. "Unless you don't want to, that is." She said.
