I am excited I am getting ready to start it! I am reading it via Audiobook and book book combined. Should be so fun!

Dante DeMille | 14 comments So you are reading along with the Audiobook? Does the experience differ between choosing one option or the other?

But, I loved this book. I like how it can pretty easily fit in both Legends and Canon. I guess that's true with a lot of pre Ep IV stuff too.

Bruce | 137 comments I hosted a panel with Timothy Zahn last fall at DragonCon. He said this book is early enough in Thrawn's life that it can work within both the canon and Legends continuities.

message 5: by Kev (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kev (sporadicreviews) | 24 comments This is one of the few new canon books I really enjoyed.

I had a hard time hearing Thrawn's voice in my head as he sounds in Star Wars Rebels Thrawn.

N.E.C.C. | 28 comments I just finised it and it's a really good book, did not disappoint me.

Khurram (theirongeek) | 26 comments I really enjoyed the book. All the way through. I agree it did not disappoint me, even with sky high expectation.

Chad | 30 comments About 50% done. Very enjoyable book with some great character depth. I really am rooting for Eli, but man do I miss Captain Pellaeon.

Just started today–5% in. Starts a little slow, but I like how Zahn is carefully constructing his story and characters.

Joshua (mrdiplomac) | 4 comments I am 70 percent done. As a reader who has only read the new canon material. This is by far my favorite book. So much so I that have already brought the Heir to the Empire anniversary edition.

Frank O'Sullivan | 23 comments I'm about 60% in. The pace has been slow since the beginning and there's no indication it's going to speed up anytime soon. It doesn't really feel like a typical Star Wars Zahn novel for some reason. But haven't said that I'm really enjoying it.
