The copy I have of The Good Luck of Right Now by Matthew Quick, published by Picador April 9 2015 (9781447247487) is 284 pages, the Goodreads entry states 256.

Worldcat and Amazon also state 256. Can you advise what is the content on the 30 or so pages difference? Is it an excerpt from another book?

No, it's the last two chapters of the book and then there is a 2 page acknowledgement on 283-284.

Everywhere I looked also said 256 pages, so I'm very confused myself.

According to Amazon and worldcat and the publisher it's Picadord. I've updated it. Though I am wondering if picadord is an imprint of Harper.

To be fair book in hand trumps online sources so we should update the book as well..

Picador, no d at the end. From what I can tell it's an imprint of Pan Macmillan.

Harper, however, seems to have the publishing rights in the US, so that's probably the reason for the mistake in publisher...
