⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) Hooray for Technology E-Reader Challenge

description

Thanks to Kay (Brigidsmomma) for the suggestion of this challenge!

The e-reader has made reading accessible for a lot of people that were previously unable to read due to failing eyesight or inability to hold the weightier hardcovers and paperbacks. It also allows people to have thousands of books, right at their fingertips, or gives them the ability to hide what they are reading (like me! Reading romances exclusively leads to some embarrassing covers being shown!).

How It Works
◈Pick a Level
◈Pick which task group you will do, and you are allowed to pick multiple groups!
All books read must be e-books, but can be on any platform (Kobo, Nook, Kindle, PC, etc)!
◈There are no page minimums for the challenge!

Duration: May 1st, 2017 to May 31st, 2017

Levels:
Easy: 1-4 books
Medium: 5-8 books
Hard: 9-11 books
Enthusiastic: 12-15 books
Dedicated: 16-19 books
OMG, the guys in the white coats are coming...I'm Committed: 20+ books

Tasks:
Read as many books as you can in e-book format!

Spell out the e-reader of the month: Nook using Title, Author Name First Letter (Either first or last name, No Middle Names!), or Series Name First Letter

Pick an author and read as many of their books as you can in e-book format.

Pick a series and read as much of it as you can in e-book format.

If you have a favorite e-Reader, be sure to PM its name to Foreman Trea, as she can always use a new addition to her current list of e-readers!

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) Attention Participants!! DO NOT create a separate post that copies your original post when you complete your challenge!!!

I am tracking participation, and when a sign up post is updated then copied to announce you are done, it is very confusing and difficult for me to get an accurate count! Just make an announcement post that says "Finished in Message X (X is your original post's message number)!", so I know where to find your finished post.

ALSO, IF YOU DO NOT PUT A COMPLETION DATE ON ANY BOOKS LISTED IN YOUR POST, I WILL NOT MARK YOU AS PARTICIPATING IN THE CHALLENGE!!

No, you're doing just fine, but when you complete the challenge DO NOT copy that entire big post! Just make a separate comment and say "Finished in Message 8!", so I can congratulate you!

Sorry about that , I accidently posted repost it here , because I was doing another challenge where we had to repost our challenge when we was finished.

I've heard about that other challenge quite a bit since I made the announcement earlier in the month!

I keep track of participation on an Excel spreadsheet and by manually counting each entry, so duplicate posting really messes me up when I do my counts on the fifth of every month! The only way I can think of to combat the problem is to request that participants not duplicate post their original posts, and delete them if they do so by habit accident.

It's nothing personal, it's just for record keeping purposes, so that I know what to bring back on a monthly/yearly basis.
