Here's an interesting article that sheds some light on the topic. I did not purchase the offering, but did find what was said (written) helpful.https://kindlepreneur.com/how-to-choo...
"Certain fiction sub-categories require publishers to include specific keywords so that the book will show up in that category. Romance, science fiction & fantasy and erotica are three examples. The number of times I've changed my key words over the year! Just thrown a more informed batch into the mix. I'm not expecting anything from it other than accuracy, I guess.

Thanks for the link. The author of this blog usually has great info.
I confess, I'm clueless when it comes to keywords!
I did a ton of research on my keywords last week and the week before. I also used KDP Rocket which was helpful but also at times misleading. I managed to change most of my keywords and am hoping to see results.
Let's hope it works. I'm not really expecting anything. Eventually I expect to have a conversation where someone says "I don't understand why that isn't working." It's usually the way it goes, but at least I'll have done the right thing.
I change them up every once in a while, just to see if I get better reaction or more varied people with different words.
Very hard to judge reactions to mine Carole. I suppose "any" would be a start. Although I did sell an ebook last week. A whole one!

Any constructive advice welcome.
