The Reluctant Midwife by Patricia Harmon |★★★★| May 22

This was a little different from the first book, but I really enjoyed it! The Reluctant Midwife is the fantastic follow up to The Midwife of Hope River and a very emotional story that takes place during the Depression Era. My full review is here:

An Offer From A Gentleman by Julia Quinn |★★★★| May 24

I'm having so much fun getting to know the Bridgerton family! This book was really cute as I love fairy tale re-tellings. Poor Sophie! Her stepmother was so horrible to her! Benedict took a little while for me to warm up to, but by the end of the book he turned out to be okay. (view spoiler)[Posey turned out to be the big surprise in coming to Sophie's rescue later in the book. I do hope she snags a Bridgerton in a future book! (hide spoiler)] I'm excited about jumping into the next story!
