I was hoping there would one who didn't have any powers, so they make up for it by using their wits to outsmart the enemy. If that doesn't work, then they could be physically fit and/or strong enough to punch a hole in the wall and barely feel a thing.
I guess the overall goal is that this protagonist could be somebody that the reader could relate to very much, since the protagonist acquired their skills naturally.

The heroine, Leda or "Pandora" (Nicknamed by a gorgeous angel), fits what you're looking for. She joined the Legion without powers and was often reprimanded (by the same angel) for using waterbottles as an improvised weapon. Or using a dishrag and glass shards to apprehend Vampires.
But, of course, she eventually gained some powers.
The story is awesome, I just finished reading it.

Sounds pretty interesting! I'll check it out sometime!
By the way, what kind of power does she gain?

Every book she gains new power as she moves up in the Legion.. So far, she acquired 4 powers already: Vampire's Kiss, Witch's Cauldron, Siren's song and power to control elements or something like that..
