SOLVED. Book about girl dancing in her basement for guys? [s]

So probably about 5 years ago I read the first chapter or two of this one book and I really loved it BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT THE TITLE OR AUTHOR.

From what I read, the book was a little quirky and it introduced itself with the main character going on and on about how beautiful her mother is and how madly in love her father is with her and how she wishes she was as beautiful as her mother.

To fill that void, she brings boys from school down to her basement and basically gives them lap dances. She says it's not for money or sexual pleasure or anything, she said it's because she loses herself in the looks they give and she feels pretty for once.

If I remember correctly, the cover of the book was a maroon sort of color and had random streaks of teal/green and whatnot. I know books can come in several different covers but this was at least one of them for a hardbound copy of the book.
