"What? No, they aren't like that," Darious said to Ares, bringing her close to him as they made their way to the front doors. "Well, my older brother is a big flirt, my father loves anything dealing with frost, and my mother cooks, a lot. Anything else I should tell you?"
Darious noticed Ares' fidgety behavior and frowned. He never saw her like this before and seemed very unlikely her. "Hey," he gently grabbed her hand as he pushed opened the glass sliding doors which led them to a glass kitchen. "Everything's fine. My family probably isn't even home, so let's get on planning!" And he raced up the glass spiral staircase as Darious dragged Ares to his room.
"I'm positive," Darious said as he closed the door softly and walked over to Ares. "My brother put up a system so no one except you can enter your room, but it's only if you give that other person permission, then you can let them in. It's pretty cool when you don't want to be disturbed."
Darious have s shrug and tossed her a cube of sorts. "How about that? By parents gave it to me when I was small, but I kind of forgot what it was." He chuckled and smiled sadly. "My memory isn't the best when it comes to receiving or giving gifts."
"I don't think so. My mother has no memory of whatever gift she gave me but father is the exact opposite." Darious explained to her, snatching the cube and whispered his name. The cube's corners spread across the room and revealed a hologram of galaxies. "I guess this was a map but, take it apart if you wish." He whispered his name again and the corners drew back and formed the cube once more.
"Hey, hey;" Darious said, ushering her to sit down on his bed as he plopped down next to her. "Please don't do that. My mother hates it when I do it and for a stranger. . . well, it would be doubly unpleasant."
"Gosh," Darious mumbled as he laid down next to Ares. "I don't even know. Shall we try something new or the regular splash of color?" He turned on his side to get a better look at Ares. She truly was beautiful now that she had snipped off her hair. It made her look more energetic and ready to go.
((Hmmm, Nobody? Are your notifications going wonky? Like they don't notify you fright away whenever someone replys back to you?)
Darious was about to laugh when the pillow slammed into his face. He tossed the pillow aside and moved a little closer to Ares. "Right. Aren't the both of you Techs or is one a Technopath andbthe other is something else?"

((I wonder what's going on. . . Maybe they're adding something. But argh! Manual stinks. :3))
"Wow, having six or seven siblings must get tiring at times," Darious said softly. "Well at least you have the other if something happens. It's always nice to know someone has your back."

((That addition is so helpful! >.<
"Meh, they could be better in some ways but they're all I have for family," Darious replied to her, tracing Ares' spine when she turned away. "They can be the most hilarious people you meet but also the most depressed. My older brother seems to bring my parents out of it so without him, we'd be doomed."

"Kara. . . what to do about her," Darious mumbled, his hand traveling to the good of her hair as he played with it. "How about you become her friend? That would be interesting.@
Darious chuckled st her reaction and asked, "She's just too. . . bubbly for your tastes dear?" He really couldn't blame her if they were really serious with the idea. Kara was an idiot, plain and simple as that.
"I was thinking about acting as if interested inher and then you swoop in while using your vanishing skills and boom!" Darious clapped his hands together. "Our Kara will get a splash on the facewiyh paint bombs!"
"She is," Darious agreed with a smirk, "if you can count that as pretty. Honestly, the girl puts on waaaaay too much makeup and it makes her look like a clown." He turned her chin so her face was staring at him. "And besides, I like girls who don't put on makeup." Then Darious gently brushed his lips on hers and smiled brightly as his other hand slipped under her waist and brought her closer to him.
"Meh," Darious shrugged as he kissed her forehead. He stared intently into her eyes and smiled softly. "She may be attractive to some guys but not to me. You are a millions times better than she is and it's not just because of your looks." Tilting his head, Darious kissed her lips again, being careful just like last time.
"Oh trust me," Darious said, running a hand through her short hair and rested his hand on cheek, "I am one hundred percent sure." His lips traveled from her cheek to finally reaching her lips again as his hand moved to the small of her back and rested there for a moment, his fingers drumming as to what to do. He kissed her tenderly and felt for her neck with his other hand.
"Distractions?" Darious repeated, as if utterly hurt, as he sat up on the bed. At her plan he nodded his head. "I like that plan so far. Gives it an extra kick."
"Now what are you doing in there?" Darious asked her as he sat at the very edge of the bed. "Looking for something to take apart?"
"Other than my clothes, no," Darious gave a smirk as he hopped off the edge of the bed and slowly closed the drawer. "You won't find anything good in there."
Aaaand that meant Darious just followed her throughout the entire house. He sighed as she grabbed items from the home and said ronber, "What exactly do you plan on doing with those?"
"What, now?" Darious asked her as he snatched Ares' fingers. "I'm already handsome in every way. Why should I go ahead and change now?"
"A man doesn't look cute," Darious scowled as he made his way to his room. He yelled from the doorframe, "A man is suppose to be dashing or handsome! Either if those two!" And wjtha. Slam of the door he changed into a black trench coat, black pants and a collared, black shirt.
"I heard that you know," Darious mumbled, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know. Usually it just comes out when I talk with girls. So rehearsing makes it seem forced."
"Considering she wears makeup like a mask," Darious said with a chuckle, dealing an arm over her shoulders. "Now I am glad I haven't been on your bad side Miss Ares."
"If I do what?" Darious asked innocently with a smirk, bringing her to their Leapmasger. "Kiss Kara like this?" He leaned down and kissed her on the lips softly. Pulling away, he raised an eyebrow.
Darious chuckled when she punched his chest. "Very well. Since I would really hate to get on your bad side, I shouldn't do it." He gave Ares a quick kiss as they arrived to the leapmaster. "Okay, so, where would she be? Foxfire?"
"It would," Darious agreed, pulling her close to him as he enetered the Leamlasted. "So Foxfire then?"
