ABANDONED. Jack the Ripper book with multiple endings?

I'm trying to remember the name of a book that I read in the late 1980's - early 1990's about Jack the Ripper. The first part was the story of what we actually know about him and his murders, then it presented a number of alternate endings to the mystery.

The author is quite clear that we don't know who Jack the Ripper was, and that each of the suggested endings in the book is equally possible (along with who knows how many others.)

Some other things I remember:
*The first part was written as one continuous story, in the manner of a detective novel
*The first part is presented as the true story, rather than a fictionalization
*Probably a YA-level audience
*I believe it was new or recent at the time I was reading it

Thank you! I have checked those lists, and the book I'm looking for doesn't seem to be there.

However, I did find a moderately active JTR discussion forum, so I will post there as well to see if I can broaden my search.

Jack The Ripper by Mark Daniel? I've seen a book review and other books that refer to "four different endings" in Daniel's novel.

Thank you @Kris, and sorry for the late response! I don't remember it being connected with a tv show, but I was always more of a reader than a television watcher, so that's not unusual. :) I will try to track down the Mark Daniel one and see if it's the one I'm looking for.
