Hey guys!! I just finished my mid year exams today so I can finally start this!! Since this is the first time im doing a reading challenge, can anyone just briefly explain what all I'm expected to do? Thank you!! Also, I plan to start with

Literally all you have to do is read books and cross of descriptions :) You can also do buddy read for any extra points :)
Bianca- I've just completed the ghostgirl series and yes I adore the adventures of Charlotte Usher. :)TJ- I'm reading it on my kindle and it's from netgalley so I don't really have page numbers but I've just started chapter 22. Do you still want to buddy read it?

Hi Everyone!Sorry, I haven't been able to read for two days -- real life just keeps getting in the way of my fantasy life!
I asked Sarah about the 1995 category:
"What year is it? Read a book published in 1995."
Does the book have to be first published in 1995, or can a new edition be published in 1995?

I noticed, Susan, you asked about the 800 pages -- and it can be the total of more than one book (one person has to read the 800 pages, though, it can't be split among team members).

Unfortunately, I only have the first book -- I believe the second book (2 book set) was only offered on Netgalley to readers in the UK.
You can only get buddy read points if you started the book in May and have the start date set in May on your review. Otherwise, you can still get pages points.

@TJ, agree. Real life always gets in the way. lol. I haven't continued reading these past few days too for I have to prepare for my upcoming college entrance exam. This kind of situation makes me miss the fantasy world. :(

but I'm not really sure as to which category this can fall under. If I cannot find anything, I was thinking of finishing the trilogy and using the 3 books for the category in which we have to read 800 pages total. Is that fine? :)

Read a book with soil/earth/ digging equipment/ something buried, or a box or trunk on the cover. Or a book with a brown cover.I put Alice's Adventures in Wonderland under brown cover, but I can move it.

Book with shoes or trainers on the cover I've got The Kindness Club there now, and I don't think I can find anywhere else to put it.
It could also go under fantasy, but we have enough of those already too. Maybe the 800 pages is still the best way to go.
Could I ask everyone to update the spreadsheet please? Especially with the color coating -- finished reading, currently reading, planning to read, and maybe. No!! There are still 2 more books left to the series. You have to read the series up till Empire of Storms - you will not regret it (also, you will die alongside the rest of the fandom waiting for the next books) - I plan to reread the series sometime soon again :")

I have just completed Forever Court. I just need to write my reviews. I have some really long days at work so I'm not gonna be able to read anything so this will probably be the last book that I complete for this challenge.
I never would have pegged that book as a horror book. It was so not but I can do that. Also I have NO CLUE how to color code the spreadsheet
So I see they put me where I had originally put my book for and whoever color coded it for me (Thank you whoever did that because I have tried to figure it out and cannot) How do I move it to the horror description?

The moderators are used to it. I've been trying to update the chart according to what people have posted. What are you reading now, Susan?
I'm planning to move books all around this week so that we can close off as many categories as possible for 10 points each. That alone will catch us up to group 2 (providing they are not doing the same -- I haven't looked ;) ). We will have enough books to close out all four parts, we just need to reshuffle. And some of us, including me, still need to post reviews of books we've finished.
