I have been really sick the past few days. I finally feel better so I have to catch up on what is happening. On the spreadsheet I don't know if we read on of the categories if we are to color code as being read and done. I read Daughter of A Pirate King
and fit into the Fantasy category in Part 3. I am heading over to put in my review for points.
Jordan wrote: "Hey, Susan I would love to buddy read the Raven Boys with you!"I didn't start The Raven Boy's I was really sick. Did you start it yet? If so I will jump on it starting tonight and catch up. I hope you are enjoying it. If you haven't started it what date would you like to begin?
Elizabeth Emily wrote: "I'm starting fantastic beasts!"OMG!! Happy reading! That's an awesome book! ^_^

Yes, the color code for "read" is "red". :D

I've been wanting to read
for months! Since you found it "amazing", I am even more motivated to read it. Do you want to buddy read it? You need to change the start date on your book review to May 1st -- Abby complained about that on the review page. Do you know how to do that? (It's under "edit" on your review page).
Ananya wrote: "Hey guys!! as i've said before, I'll start reading after I finish my mid year exams on may 8th!! :))"Good luck on your exams, Ananya! Get lots of sleep. :D
I've just finished my second book so I will upload my review and add it now and also update the spreadsheet. As soon as all that is done I'll be starting my next book. Do you guys mind if I complete the other books I started in April this month as we can use them for points and then I can use the sequels for descriptions? Just wanted to check with you guys first.

I will do it now since I only read about 50 pages before I got sick
I changed the start date to May 1st since I read all of it while in bed yesterday. Weirdest thing ever, food made me sick to think of but when I would roll over in bed and look at my stack of books that would nauseate me just as badly....lol...I did that one other time and it was when I was pregnant with my last son who is 18...I am NOT pregnant but I couldn't read for 9 solid months. It would send me running to the bathroom to even think of reading...ha ha ha...that's what happened with this flu.
One last thing. She said I couldn't cross it off the description and I am not sure why. Goodreads has it down as fantasy so I used it as my fantasy pick. Would you know why? Did I do something wrong. I did ask her on the other thread too so I am just waiting to hear back.
When reading books you have to have started and finished it in may for it to count towards this challenge. However they will still let you have the books for points towards the challenge but you can't cross a description off with it.
Susan wrote: "One last thing. She said I couldn't cross it off the description and I am not sure why. Goodreads has it down as fantasy so I used it as my fantasy pick. Would you know why? Did I do something wrong..."Yes, only if you started reading it in May do you get to use it for categories. If that is the case and you had the wrong starting date (I do that sometimes when I'm planning which books to read next, I click "currently reading" before I start), then just tell Abby you corrected the date. If you started earlier, you can still get points for the pages read.
Elizabeth Emily wrote: "Do you guys mind if I complete the other books I started in April this month as we can use them for points and then I can use the sequels for descriptions? Part 2, Number 9 on the instruction page is:- I’ve been in Jumanji! Read a Paranormal story.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I just noticed it's different on the progress page:
- I’ve been in Jumanji! Read a book with the word 'game' or 'play' in the title.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I've pointed this out to the administrators. Hope we'll have no problem keeping it paranormal...
Elizabeth Emily wrote: "Bianca- I loved it, absolutely devoured it in under a day:)<3"That's great!! ^_^
I also joined a reading challenge in some other groups and here is my to-read list:A book that starts with:
S -
P -
R - (I don't think I have a book title here that starts with letter 'R' :/)
I - Illuminae by Amie Kaufman
N - New Testament illustrated by Jose P Montero
(I want to finish this-this month to share the message of the Lord ^_^ )
G - * Gemina by Amie Kaufman
* Geekerella by Ashley Poston
I'm not sure if I will be able to finish reading everything I've listed. School starts next month so I will be kind of busy.
Elizabeth Emily wrote: "I am now onto..

Elizabeth Emily wrote: "Haha! Thanks Bianca! Looks like I've picked some good books this month!"
Yup!! ^_^

Ananya- I just asked for a buddy read thread for the 9th is that still an ok date to buddy read
? You have up to a week to complete it after that date to still count (that is what I was told last month from Sarah...I hope that is true and hasn't changed)TJ- Would May 13th be ok for our buddy read for
? If not I will wait to hear a better date. I didn't put it sooner because I am DYING to read ACOWAR first.
Someone was talking about a buddy read for
and if that is going on please let me know. I really want to read it and then start on the TV series. My daughter is LOVING the series so much.Did I say I would buddy read anything else with anyone? If not then I will get to my other books I want to read for this challenge.
Susan wrote: "TJ- Would May 13th be ok for our buddy read for A List of Cages by Robin Roe? If not I will wait to hear a better date. I didn't put it sooner because I am DYING to read ACOWAR first."I'm starting a buddy read for
on May 12th, so that would be too soon for me. Do you still have someone who is planning to read it with you? (I'd rather not commit to a date). I know someone asked on the buddy read page:
Alex wrote: "Anyone for
this week?"https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I still want to read it, I'm just not sure where I can fit it in yet. If you set up a date, I can jump in if I can swing it.
Just finished
. I don't know what to read next for the challenge so I'll finish reading some of the books I've started. lol. Maybe I'll read
after reading
. HAHAHAHAHA I started the book last month and still haven't finished reading it. oops.
Just going to put this here...https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
The link you were looking for.
I'm gonna start reading
later after reading
which I don't think if it'll be counted if I submit a report for that (What? err.. I think I used a wrong term for that. lol) since I started reading it last month. But I'll try.Tomorrow I'll start reading
so wow... There are a lot of books to read. asdfghjklWhat are you guys reading?
So many books so very little time!!... Okay so, here's my plan of action:
I want to have completed Lovesick by Tonya Hurley by either tonight or tomorrow night.
I want to have completed Knights of the Borrowed Dark by either tonight or tomorrow night. (Just for points as I started it in April.
I have a buddy read of Gilded starting today. (Not sure when it will be completed as I'm unsure yet as to how many pages/chapters the others will want to read a day.
I also want to complete Crooked Kingdom after Knights of the Borrowed Dark. (But again only for points as I started it in April.
Then once all that's over and done with I'll decide on my next plan of action. XD
Oh I also have a buddy read for Everything Everything coming up on the 12th. I haven't put all these in the spreadsheet yet as I haven't looked where the best place is to put them yet. :)
Here is the buddy read link for
that starts tomorrow for anyone who would like to join in. I have heard nothing but good things about this book. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...I wish I could remember who wanted to read
with me but they asked I set the date for after the 15th...I am going to ask for the 17th if that works and also for anyone wanting to read it with me please join in.Last thing, I want to read
soon or in between the books I have listed and wanted to know if anyone would want to read that with me too. It's great to have those extra buddy read points.

Hey, do you want to buddy read it? I'm 25% through. Even if you are just reading it for points, I could get buddy read points for it if you discuss it with me...
Elizabeth Emily wrote: "I have a buddy read of Gilded starting today. (Not sure when it will be completed as I'm unsure yet as to how many pages/chapters the others will want to read a day.
I've been wanting to read that for ages! I set up the buddy read last year, but then my buddy read it ahead of the date... so I joined a different buddy read instead.
