Kiana sighed loudly, roughly shoving books back into their slots. She was using her free period to search for books on a research paper. Her topic was the French Revolution, a topic she would NOT like to do. Kiana didn't want to argue with the teacher on it, and risk getting detention. Kiana didn't know why, she just hated France, She would much rather do something like World War One or Two. Kiana sighed again, before picking up her notebook and heading over to the next bookshelf.
As much as Sammy would rather practice in private, he had no idea as to where his violin wouldn't be heard, so as a result, he'd brought it to the library, as he was on good terms with the librarian and had gotten her permission to play in one of the corners of the large, book filled room, so long as he was quiet. His bow shook ever so slightly as he raised it to his violin, but he paused at the startling sound of books being shoved into shelves. He'd been prepared to practice with people in the same area as him, but something in his mind had made it seem different- more appealing and less mortifying. He couldn't see their face yet, and he desperately prayed to God they couldn't see his as well.

Kiana swiftly walked to the next bookshelf. She had pulled out a pair of EarPods and plugged them into her iPod, which most likely wasn't allowed in school, but she was discreet about it, like the small frying pan she kept in the folds of her slightly shorter skirt. She was listening to some sort of Korean Music on a playlist she had created a while ago. Her music was quiet enough for no one else to hear, but loud enough for to hear.
Ignoring the nagging feeling that whoever was lurking behind the bookshelves would hear and talk to him, Sammy let his bow quiver on the strings of his violin, and started the piece, Nocturne op.9 No.2. It was originally made for the piano, and since he loved to play it so much, he converted it to violin. It was only then that he saw the student's face, and shock ran through him at the sight of Kiana. He almost set his violin down and order that she leave so he could practice in peace, but he didn't want to completely upset her, and besides, he couldn't just stop in the middle of a piece. He had to follow it through to the finish.

Kiana, completely oblivious to the person near her, gently pulled a book from a nearby shelf. Alas, it was a copy of Pride and Prejudice, not a history textbook on the French Revolution. Sighing, she placed it back in it's tightly packed shelf and moved down a shelf. On the shelf were many fictional books about the revolution, but none that would provide the information she needed for her paper.
His bow wavered on the last note, but overall, the performance had had no flaws. He would be all set for class, and hopefully, just hopefully, he'd managed to impress at least a few teachers and some students. But, Ouran was no ordinary school, so he'd have to work more hard than usual to impress.
His attention once again returned to Kiana. She really was quite attractive, once she was out of her maid uniform. Not that Sammy would ever admit that to her. He felt a pang of anger and sadness at the fact that she didn't see him or hear his playing- it would've been nice to impress her further. He gave a small cough, for reasons he hadn't yet fully processed.

Suddenly, her music stopped. Kiana's IPod had died. She roughly yanked the buds from her ears and shoved them into her skirt pocket. Kiana grabbed a few more books, cradling them into her arms. She stepped out into the space between the bookshelves. The instant Kiana caught a glimpse of Sammy, she ducked back behind a shelf, hoping he hadn't seen her. Kiana couldn't explain this behavior, she wasn't one you'd usually see in a library. Kiana stood, her back pressed against the cold metal shelf, hoping that Sammy hadn't seen.
A slight roll of the eyes was his first reaction to her sudden hiding. He'd seen her, there was no undoing that. Hiding was just a waste of time, in his eyes. "Kiana?" Sammy called out, his voice slightly shaky and his tone unsure. He was fairly certain it'd been her, but if it were just someone else with that light brown hair and shimmering eyes, it'd be rather embarrassing for him.

Kiana poked her head out from behind the bookshelf. "Oh, hello.." she replied, her voice wavering slightly. She gripped the remaining books tightly in her arms, which would most likely result in light indents in her arms later, which would fade quickly. Kiana's eyes wandered down to Sammy's violin. He must have been practicing... thought Kiana.
Damn, Sammy cursed inside his head. Sure, he was happy that it was, in fact, her and not some other girl, but he hadn't planned far enough ahead to know what he would say now. "Hello..." he finally got out, and already was searching for something to say, however, his train of thought died out as soon as a large cough built up in him, and he collapsed in a fit of small, high pitched hacks.

A soft sigh escaped Kiana's lips as she fully stepped out from behind the bookshelf and walked towards Sammy. "So..what-" she began to ask, before he collapsed in his coughing fit. "Hey! A-Are you okay?!" She exclaimed, suddenly very worried about him. Kiana stood next to him, crouching down next to him with a worried and panicked look across her face.
After a few moments the coughing died down, and as soon as he brought his fist away from his mouth he rushed to pull off his gloves and stuff them in his pocket in order to hide the blood from Kiana. It wasn't much, but he feared that the sight of several splotches and speckles of red on the silky white material might upset her. "I'm fine," he finally answered with a shaky smile, his voice still slightly hoarse.

Kiana glared at Sammy. Not in the angry kind of way, but the worried way. "You don't look fine. Do you need me to escort you to the infirmary?" She asked kindly, slightly worried about Sammy.
((Sorry for shortness;;))
((Sorry for shortness;;))
((It's okay!))
Sammy quickly shook his head in response, and it most definitely didn't help his argument when the quick movement was followed by a cough. "I'm fine. This happens pretty much everyday," he told her with a forced smile as he popped a bitter cough drop into his mouth. "It's normal."

"A-Are you sure?" Asked Kiana, suddenly noticing that he had taken off his gloves. Kiana sighed softly. "Alright. If you say so." She said. Giving off the scary aura she did to most people . "But if I find out you're lying to me, I will...actually, I don't know what I'll do. So..tell me if something's wrong!" She commanded sternly, just for Sammy's health of course.
Sammy shivered a bit in fear at her fearsome attitude. "I-I wi-will," he stuttered, giving her a shaky smile. His face had flushed bright red, and he gave the vague impression of a quivering tomato with his scared shaking and bright face.

Kiana smiled kindly. "Alrighty then!" She chirped , the deadly aura disappearing instantly. So, what were you doing?" Asked Kiana, fidgeting with an unneeded bow on her shortened uniform. She despised it, the color, the lace, the length, how itchy it was, and how tight the top was, even though Kiana was naturally slender, it still was tight. Kiana rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet, the backs of her shoes rubbing against the back of her heel.
"I was practicing," he told her with a smile, picking up his violin and cradling it like a baby. He didn't really have much of a need to practice- God knew he was perfect- but he still did it everyday for five hours straight.

"In the library?" She asked, tilting her head. Kiana assumed he was allowed, although he would have been told to stop that if he wasn't. Kiana sighed softly, lifting her foot and rubbing the back of her ankle for a slight blister. Finding no such thing, she smiled and set her foot back down on the carpeted ground.
He shrugged, his expression completely normal; as if practicing violin in the library was no sight to be seen. "It's quiet here. And the librarian likes me," he added, running a hand through his thin brown hair.

((OMG IM SO SORRYYYY))
"Well, that's good. I'd hate to see you get in trouble for doing something you enjoy." she replied dully. It wasn't that she didn't care, but the utter realization that Kiana would have to get back to class in a bit, and she hated the idea.
