I am definitely in! So excited to be able to participate in one of our challenges again. :D
I read about 10-12 books a month.

So glad you are joining!! You were missed during the last challenge. :)

I will give it a try. 2 questions: Can we count an individual novella from a collection as long as it is 100 pages?
Do all of the books need to be Christian fiction? Or can we count general market mysteries, etc?
Sounds like fun! This is my first challenge so I might be a little lost. 😳 I'm a pretty fast reader, but lately have only had time to read 3-4 books a month.

Great questions!
Yes, if an individual novella is over 100 pages and works for one of the tasks, you can use it.
The books read can be general market. It doesn't matter so long as they are over 100 pages and are not Cookbooks, Picture books, Manga, Graphic Novels, Poetry books. :)

BTW, how many books on average do you read a month? This will help me try to even out the teams a little. :)

Awesome!! Don't worry, ask any questions you have and I'll try my best to answer them. :) After the first round, I'm sure things will be easy. :D Thanks for joining this as your first challenge!

I average about a book a week during the school year, but usually 2 or 3 a week during the summer. My last day of school is May 25.
I do have some reading commitments for book reviews, but hopefully they will work for some of the categories as well.
I'm in and read between 14-24 books a month, depends on the length of the books I'm reading and the time I devote to reading. :)
Melanie, in the rules, should the books be finished after the date the specific round starts rather than the date the challenge starts?

Yes, I completely overlooked changing that. THANK YOU! :)

Hey guys! I'll be happy to join once again! I love these challenges. This one sounds like we will really need to talk to our team members. Dividing the tasks. It will be very fun :D

I agree. It will be pretty engaging, I think. It will be fun to see who has what books that will work for each category and item within our assigned groups.
Hi, guys! Andrea invited me to join in. This will be my first group game challenge, so y'all just bump me on the head and tell me how to get back in line if I don't do it right. ;)I've only read 10 books this month, but some months it's 20+, so I guess it's a range of 10-25, if that's not too wide. I've read 105 books this year, about 16-18 of which wouldn't fit the guidelines.
Oh! I'm sorry! I just realized I forgot to post my number of books per month... I'll go with 4 books, it sounds reasonable :)
I want to play, I can commit to 6 books for the month. It could end up being more but I didn't want to commit to too large a number.
Hello everyone! Andrea invited me. I generally read over ten books a month, but for this challenge I'll aim low and say 4-5, especially since I rarely read books with modern photo-covers etc.
I would love to take part. 4 books a month is doable. I may be having neck surgery during this time but I it shouldn't affect my reading.
Thanks for the invite, Melanie! Looking forward to this travel and book cover challenge . My reading totals vary with other life commitments, sooooo not sure what to enter - maybe 10-20 to be reasonable? Don't want to upset any team members with expectations if I can't meet them ;) !
Well it seems we'll be a great group of people participating in this challenge. So fun! I love seeing everyone excited about it :D
writer... wrote: "Thanks for the invite, Melanie! Looking forward to this travel and book cover challenge . I usually read more than that but didn't want to risk having a busy month and not reaching my goal
Oh, Melanie! I just realized that this is the kind of challenge you can take part of! This is great :D
@Sam, yep and I'm looking forward to that! The last challenges were fun for me even without participating, but it's great to have one that doesn't have "secret puzzles/covers" so it's okay if I play along. :))
Yay! So happy to see everyone here!*waves to Hannah and Seneca* Glad you two decided to jump in!
This is going to be so much fun.
I have never done one of these reading challenges but this sounds interesting. I'd like to join but I don't read very fast. I might be able to read four books a month but maybe not.
Hi! I'm new to this group. Sam is the one who invited me to join in on all the fun. :)It's my first time participating in a team challenge.
I'm the slowest reader yet... I read 2 or 3 books a month.
I'm in....Not sure I understand completely (even after reading the other page) lol!!4 books/month (school is in full swing, plus full-time work and full-time kid & 1/2 time kid)....husband wanted ;) self-cleaning apartment needed!
I'm in! I love love love book challenges! They get me reading more and make reading even more fun! Since I finished grad school last year I've only been reading 2-3 books per month--not nearly as much as I read previously. I'm really wanting to read more, a lot more, and this challenge would encourage that. I plan on reading 4-5 books per month moving forward. Also, I love traveling the world through books! Please please please add me to a team. :)

Here are the basics:
Each round, teams will have two weeks to complete five tasks. Now, depending on how many members a team has, you might only have to read 1 book per team member, or if you have a faster reader, they might be able to take on more tasks, if needed. In total, though, there are only five tasks to be completed.
The tasks will fall under these "umbrellas":
1. Location
2. Transportation
3. Souvenir Item
4. Nourishment
5. Sleeping accommodations
