ABANDONED. YA book with plot located in San Francisco about a guy working at a music record shop

Hi, I am looking for a funny YA book, about a guy living in San Francisco. He was working in a music record shop and broke up or went on a brake with his girlfriend. Not too long after he meets another girl and falls in love with her. The book is really funny and not too long, and in it the main character is describing these few weeks and dates he went on with the new girl.
I do not remember names, but I think the name of the main character is in the title, like "Short Life of..", something like that. The book had yellow cover and I read it on a reading app but after my phone broke I was unable to get it back, and I tried all the search engines there are.
I am thankful for any comment that would help me find it.

Is he living on his own in San Francisco? That would make it less likely to be YA, which is usually about high school age kids.

I read it on a reading app called Bookviser reader, it was in the category YA, and I read it last year. After my phone broke down I got another one, but it wasn't Windows, so I couldn't restore the app.

I think I read it in 2014. I found it in a reading app. I remember that the cover was yellow and had a name of the main character in the title. He was livig in San Francisco and working in a record shop. His girlfriend just broke up with him and a short time after he meets another woman, they hang out over few days and he is torn between going back to his ex or moving on with this new woman in his life. It was really funny. If there is anyone who could help me find this, I would be forever grateful, because I've been searching for it over past 2 years. I lost it because my phone broke down and I couldn't go back to the app to look for it. Thank you for reading this."
