unable to find author by using google

I dont know if this is the right topic but normally when i enter an authors name and goodreads in the searchfield on GOOGLE i get a link to the authors goodreads page. When i search for my friends book with google i get no results for her goodreads page. does anyone have an idea how this can be fixed.

It didn't come up for me either, but this isn't something that librarians can help with (we are volunteers) You could try the Feedback group,but to me it seems more like a question for Google!

There is nothing librarians or even GR can do about this.

Google indexes sites on their own schedule, and a site as big as GR likely isn't indexed all in one go either. The book is pretty new, the most likely answer is it simply hasn't been picked up by the Google indexing robots yet.
