LOL Tessa. I read those books too. They WERE good, when I was ELEVEN........... And now I'm *chokes* older, not so much.

Renee's Pick For Me"
Not only am I constantly being rec'd menage books--now I've had one appear as 'read' and rated 3 stars on my read shelf...and not by me!
It's 'Four Strikes' by L.P. Lovell, it happened on 4/23, and it was the only activity on any of my shelves on that date. It's also the 4th in a series and I haven't marked any of the others from that series (and I wouldn't anyway, because 'menage'!) How strange!!
But I shouldn't be surprised since I had hundreds of books magically moved from my 'tbr' to my 'read' shelf several years ago. But none of those also had ratings added like this one did. *scratches head*
I think Robin is posing as you and making all these changes on your wall...BECAUSE RENEE, NAY NAME CONFUSION
Ela wrote: "I think Robin is posing as you and making all these changes on your wall...BECAUSE RENEE, NAY NAME CONFUSION"It's possible. I'm going on my 3rd night of no sleep...
Last night wasn't my fault. My poodle strudel had a tummy ache and cried all night wanting to be let outside to eat grass. I'd open the door and she'd take off. This went on for hours.
Bless her heart, Robin! I hope she feels better.I've noticed that you have a sleeping pattern similar to what I used to have (or maybe I should say a 'waking pattern'). For years--I'm talking at least 10 years--I lived on 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I'm one of those people who only needs 5- 6 hours, but 3-4 wasn't enough.
Nay - Don't know how you can run on that little sleep! I need at least 7 hours and at the weekends I always lie in! My mum always said I wouldn't need as much sleep when I got older - I'm 44 and I can still lie in till noon!

I hate sleeping. It's such a waste of time! If I could figure out a way to fully avoid it, I would! :D
Leslie wrote: "Robin, you could ask my Edward to change you then you would never have to sleep."Yes, but then that would make him *my* Edward...
Niki wrote: "I want in for May!! Can someone please let me know what i need to do??? Thanks Ladies"Just make a shelf of about 15-25 books you want someone to pick from and post the link here! Have fun!
OMG, Robin! This is almost creepy. I have said this, verbatim:I hate sleeping. It's such a waste of time! If I could figure out a way to fully avoid it, I would!
more times in my life than I can count! We're sleep twins!!!

Hahaha! That's so funny! I thought everyone loved sleeping!
I better add some more to my shelf. Not sure I want to read anything that's there now! Ha! Strudel the Poodle!! How cute. Hope she's feeling better soon. Grass eating always ends up with grass puking at my house. On the nearly white carpet. Ugh.
So excited for May. Yippee!!!
I actually took books off mine this time. I'm too strapped for reading time to get one I'm not feeling.
I need 8 hours of sleep. Always have. My hubby needs 4-5. He creeps around quietly on weekends for hours. I still take naps too. Sleep is my friend.
I feel like I'm wasting my life away while I sleep. When I went to slumber parties growing up, everyone else went home and slept. I went home and was up all day. I hate naps (although I must admit that after these surgeries, I've learned to appreciate a nap when it's needed).Michelle--someone probably changed your settings. The same person who rated and added that book to my 'read' shelf!
Paging Tessa! Leslie and Lisa are trying to convince me to read Emma Scott's Rush, it is on my Pick for Me list, so it may happen this month anyway; anyway... you're my twin in this arena... is the H a bully? 'cuz I'm craving a bully real bad...
Renee wrote: "Not only am I constantly being rec'd menage books--now I've had one appear as 'read' and rated 3 stars on my read shelf...and not by me!"Spooky, Renee. The ghost in the machine........ *cue eerie music*
Grey, I read Rush and *ducks* dnf'd it. I dunno. I just kinda lost interest. I know guys, there's a lotta love out there for this book, but I just didn't get hooked. *grabs manny and runs to hide in blankie fort*
What!!?? I've never heard of anyone DNF'ing that one! I've never read a bully book so IDK, but he is an asshole...at first. And it's handsdown my favorite ES book.

You can change your list every month if you like. But remember don't make it too, too big. You don't want your picker spending a week figuring out what to pick for you.

Thanks, Robin! roflmao!🤣
It's ok, Jan!

I have this on my wishlist. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00SPVZBL... I'm not sure if it's good, but it was listed as a bully book.
Robin, you've never read a bully book? 0.0 Well, admittedly they are few and far between but still! Wow. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
This book! ASAP!
Robin, from what I remember, it's much more new adult. I don't enjoy HS either, usually, but Bully was a 5-star read for me. I loved it!
I've been enjoying HS more than I was anyway, so that should help! I loved SoT! And The Sweet Gum Tree had lots of HS years.
Renee... if you loved Bully... you should really read Until You, which is the follow up to Bully, it was even better. I swear!! I FLoved Until You so hard, I wish I could have book amnesia so I could read it all over again for the first time. I'm at a track meet today. oy... it may been an all day event. so here I am. I got confused for a second, Robin... Tessa and I, dont care about the high school part of it... but then I realized that you dont enjoy chat aspect... please dont worry about it. Pen Douglas writes such complex characters that that age thing hardly is noticeable...
