We learn that BOI has certain limitations on what international operations they can take on, which left Crystal's rescue up to Johnny. Did you understand why he had to go solo?

Crystal had no strategic importance to the US, so I do, sorta, understand why they couldn't be involved. But, is sucked.

It's rather sad that if you had no important ties to the US, your rescue is nonexistent. It's kind of interesting that it was pointed out that BOI can operate and do non government sanctioned jobs that is okay'd by the top guys, they just don't have direct ties or take credit for it.

I would have thought her being best friends with Abbie would have made her family and a priority.

It was disappointing that someone who doesn't have a Senator for a father or some other tie to Government personnel is not worth rescuing.
