I read this book back when I was in middle or elementary school so before 2006. The main character was a girl who has recently found out that she and another girl were switched at birth. The other girl was in a car accident (I think) and died which is how her parents discovered she wasn't their child. They managed to find her and take her from her real parents. The main character hates her real family. She and her father both have a scar or line in their eyebrows and angry at this similarity she shaves hers off. Please help!

Ahh the annoying thing is I've read this too but I can't recall the title! There both girls and the girl hated the other girl and then one died in a car crash. There's also a romance between the girl and a guy that's parents are family friends with the 'real family' of hers.

No it's different to the one I'm thinking off.
It's not on there mine was fairly recent 2 years old max, and the main story was the romance but she found out after girl she goes to school with dies that they were swapped at birth but no one knew at all. Then she moves in with boyfriend family to start to know her real parents which are family friends of her boyfriends family. I'll find it eventually!
I know this is not your book Kaya but when I asked if yours was fiction, this was the nonfiction book I had in mind. You may find this interesting as well (they weren't switched at birth but were mistaken at hospital when two girls were in car accident. I'm gonna keep looking for yours because it sounds interesting but you should read Someone Else's Life. It's also about switched at birth and is sooo good. It's kinda similar to yours, it sounds like.
