i just watched the first 2 episodes of paradise kiss and wow. it may be my new favorite anime depending on how the rest of the series plays out. though the mc does look cute with the bangs she gets after episode 1, i kinda feel like they did her dirty cause she was still really pretty before they did that. maybe it was to spice things up instead of having the same haircut? i dunno but the characters are amazing and i love them all.

It all really began when Vivien fell and hurt her head on a rock when she was ten and was told she'd have to take it easy growing up. Her parents babied her all the way up to the present. Whenever she was told to do work, she'd always say her head couldn't take it. In contrast to that, she'd go on extensive trips to other countries. Her younger sister, Lily, hated her for this. If Vivien could plan a two month long trip, she's definitely able to help around the house more. But Vivien left her little sister to do all the chores all by herself. And whenever the house needed to be tidied up, Vivien would always tell Lily her head just wasn't up for it. Her parents would quickly nurse her before leaving for work. If they came home late, Vivien would boss her sister around. Lily learned early on that if she didn't follow her orders, Vivien would complain to their parents on how awful Lily was not following her every whim.

During school, Vivien was the star of the show. Being the fastest runner she was always picked as the team leader when the school had a sports festival. She was nice to the people who were nice to her but she made a mental note to use them as an asset. Where people thought it was considerate of her to remember their name, she was figuring out ways to use them. Even the teachers were caught in her web. She always followed the teachers' instructions to a T and hardly got in trouble. If she did, she'd bully the teachers by digging up dirt or hurting them. As soon as she got into the game of breaking hearts, people realized she wasn't as amazing as everyone pictured her to be. But she made it through her early years of school without getting killed or her heart broken, too much at least. Her first love, Arielly Brambell, was the girl of her dreams. She was like the missing half. They caused great mayhem by keeping their relationship a secret while breaking all the little hopefuls. As well as ruining the lives around them. They were the perfect pair throughout high school till Arielly wanted to work as a lowly guard in the castle. Vivien joked that once she made it to the higher ranks, Arielly would eventually work under her. Arielly never liked being the submissive type so she said that if Vivien tried, she would kill her. Even as their relationship fell apart, neither one of them ended up dead.

Vivien's parents worked their butts off as models to provide for their girls. So when it came to decide on which school Vivien should go to, of course she picked the best money could buy, pursuing a career as a model. Lily came of age shortly after Vivien left, so when their mother told Vivien that Lily would be touring schools, Vivien tagged along. Lily was looking at schools relating to the musical world, Vivien commented that this school was known for having weak teaching methods and that set their mother's mind. And Lily's hatred for her sister only grew. Vivien went back to school happily satisfied that her sister's pathetic dreams of anything but a model were destroyed.

Shortly after the whole school fiasco, Vivien's time to shine had come. The Selection was announced and she stood in line since morning outside the Offices to take her picture. As she was going out, she saw Lily standing in line with her idiotic friends and her application was sticking out of her back pocket. Stealing a girl's sun hat, Vivien swiped Lily's application in between her slender fingers. She ripped it to shreds as she heard girls panicking behind her, letting the bits fly in the wind.

Now of course she was a Selected, how could she not? If she didn't get chosen, people would start to wonder. Lily was such a party pooper when the family held a big party in honor of Vivien. For once, couldn't Lily be happy for her? And to think Vivien went through the trouble of inviting Lily's types just to have them shot down like flies with her sister's bad mood. As the night went on, Vivien blacked out. She couldn't remember what happened after but her room was dark and she could hear crying. Smoothing down her hair, Vivien turned a corner and saw her sister hurling over the kitchen sink. How dare she not be happy for her? Seeing Vivien, Lily started to rant on how life was so unfair for her and how much Vivien ruined her life. Vivien couldn't believe this. Lily was the favorite. Her life was bliss, Having good friends and the way their parents smothered her with undying attention was enough to make one gag. Seeing her infuriated sister, Vivien decided to push it. How mad was she really? Vivien saw her sister eye the kitchen knives with shaky eyes and pushed her. "You know you want to." Vivien urged her. Lily gave in, charged Vivien till their parents came in to check out all the yelling and screaming. When they saw Lily go for a smirking Vivien, they were the ones who yelled and screamed for her not to. They pinned her to the floor and urged Vivien to call security. The following day, Vivien was brought before the castle. She could care less what happened to Lily. She got what she deserved for being the so called forgotten child. And if Lily couldn't be happy for her, that wasn't Vivien's problem. At least the brat was finally where she belonged.

living here for five months and i've never felt more at ease. it's been 8 years since since we left cali and i didn't realize how much i missed it till we were five years in idaho. as for the other 3 years, time seemed to go by slowly. which is why when my parents said we could move back home, it felt like i could die for happiness. i missed this area so much. idaho... it was alright. you know, if you like racist small towns, it's for you. here, it feels like we won't get stared at. and we won't get stupid teenagers asking us if we're in a gang just cause we're a family going on a walk. the stupidity of those people while we were living in idaho truly astounded me. it sent me off the edge when a guy at target called mommo a dirty immigrant. she said it wasn't worth getting in a fight with him but man. that's my mama you're talking about. granted, i know not ALL people in one city or state are the same but when the vibe of a place is wanting to stay stuck in the past and being afraid of anything progressive or new (such as other people instead of the majority of the population being white), that's what made me eager to move. long story short, i'm happy to back home in cali. it just feels a lot more lively and the people are super friendly. i think california gets a bad rep for being full of snotty jerks but the majority of people are just people, going about their daily lives. and the FOOD!!! gosh it's heavenly. even costco pizza tastes better than the one in idaho for some reason, or maybe that's just me being biased. XD we love this turkish place called ikram and it's the best. the meat is so succulent and gorgeous and the sauce they put on there has just enough of spice and deliciousness. and of course INN N OUT!!! who can forget about that? if the lines are long enough to cover a whole street, you better believe it's delicious. having their burgers with animal style is something not of this world. maybe i'm being overdramatic but gosh. i haven't had a burger that good in a long time. well, maybe tom's burgers in downtown oc beats them by a smidge but still! inn n out is definitely worth the wait. and the shakes! we share the chocolate and vanilla ones and those are so creamy and really flavorful! believe me, i like the options some other places has, but sometimes it's too much for my old brain to handle. XD seriously. it's so nice to back here. idaho was fun, since we got to explore nature and stuff as little kids, but i don't see myself ever going back.

Klud has a very sharp face with thick eyebrows and a pointed chin. He often wears his black hair styled in an updo with bangs intentionally in the way. He's 5'9" but wears boots with thick heels to appear taller. So erm, whatever you do, please don't ask him to take his boots off. He'll never talk to you again if you do. Klud's eyes often rest in a way where people think he wants to be left alone or bored out of his mind, either one. His brown eyes have flecks of an even darker brown in them but it has to hit the sun juuuuust right.

Klud can't stand it when people don't have a mind of their own, being influenced by the friends they hang out with. Or being sorry just because they think differently than you. When he couldn't stand the flan they served in the Academy, his friend Taliss would say sorry for enjoying it. It annoyed him to no end how sorry she was for liking different things. He just wished that people like her would be more confident in themselves.

Klud feels certain sense of responsibility to people who seem like they can't take care of themselves. He's just drawn to them. Though he is a standoffish kind of guy, he's a sweet guy.

Time is precious for Klud. Being threatened in the Moors with death threats, even with an all powerful mother, you'd treat time different too. So futile clubs like drama, art, or pottery don't make any sense to him. Now sports, that produces results. Tones out your muscles and makes you more fit. If an invasion should happen in any case.

Klud and his mother lived in the Moors in peace till Aurora and Phillip passed away. Their children were cruel and attempted to burn the Moors to the ground more times than they could count. Even with the Faerie and their help, the Moors were on the brink of destruction. Klud was twelve when the Moors were endangered. He explored outside the Moors to report back to his mother, being small that he was. He saw a girl roughly his own age and casted an invisibility spell on his wings. Klud and the human girl actually became friends and she introduced herself as Taliss. Being with each other eased their minds amidst the raging war around them. The war lasted for four more years and Klud finally showed Taliss his wings, feeling that he couldn't keep it in any longer. Taliss was shocked and she disappeared for several days before coming back to talk with Klud as though everything was normal. Even after he showed her, he still kept his wings hidden, no need to get Taliss in trouble. with the two friends understanding the rift between the two species, their friendship grew, but at a distance. They were always careful no one knew about their friendship
