To be honest, I started this series without thinking of the consequences...
It was the scheele's green glowing in the darkness of the cover that called to me but it was definitely the title that made me turn the first page. After those first lines, I was sentenced to pass my days book after book, almost forgetting I had to work.
I was not prepared to be taken off my feet into a world full of magical wonders, mazed plots and murders committed for astonishing reasons.
I though I could read the first one and stop there..but then, in one go, I bought the entire collection . Or so I thought - THERE WAS ONE MORE!!!
My world kind of crumbled. I thought I could satiate my need for more since the series was completed and there was nothing I could do about it. My mind and heart were still too thirsty when I finished Of Fates and Phantoms (the 7th book)... the hope and despair that there was another one was devastating (only) because I HAD TO WAIT!
I am crawling the walls waiting for this 8th book, as if I am a floating soul just waiting to be stuffed back into that magical body that awakes the senses to a new world.
I really hope I am not alone in this and I would be happy to discuss what we think is to come and how we can make the days pass faster by thinking of these amazing characters and their fantastic crimson world :)
