Great. Just great, Ashley thought as she stood outside the doorway to the empty classroom. It was only her second day there and she was hopeless lost. She'd thought- no, she'd been sure- that her classroom was supposed to be there- the maps had said it, but clearly, she was wrong. Her purple hair fell into her eyes as she shifted her weight from foot to foot. Her worry was kicking in- what would happen if she were late to class? She couldn't let that happen, no-

Her thoughts were interrupted as she took a step forward and her books went flying towards the floor with a loud smack. "Damn," she cursed under her breath as she let herself fall to her knees and pick up the large mess of papers and pencils from the ground.

Ash jumped at the voice, and action of which was paired with the automatic flushing of her face; the typically pale skin blooming with a redness that nearly matched her eyes. She allowed her eyes to travel up from the floor to the boy who towered above her. "Er- no, th-thank you. I'm fine," she squeaked, a slight stutter contaminating her voice. As much as she wanted help, she couldn't bring herself to ask for it, so she got to work, stuffing all her papers into her folder and collecting her mess of binders from the floor.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

While Ash knew and acknowledged the fact that she hadn't asked for help, she couldn't help but find it slightly rude that just sat there and watched while she struggled with her books. "I'm fine," she answered, although this time, there was a tinge of annoyance in her voice. "My name?" She paused as she hoisted her binders onto her lap and turned to face him with an exasperated smile. "Ashley. Lee," Ash added. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she took in his face for the first time. Sure he was attractive, but she was only trying to place his face with a name- or simply just something to make her brain remember where on earth she'd seen him before. It was probably just in the hallways, but then again, Ash hardly remembered any of the faces she saw at their lockers. Perhaps he'd done something annoying? She shook off her thoughts as she returned her focus to the present. "What's yours?"

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

((lol it's okay it's a lot better than my posts when i'm not dead (but then again, when would that be?)))

"Nice to meet you," Ashley said in response without turning around to face him. "And I'll be fine." Once she finished picking up her books, she turned around to face him. Her purple bangs were still hanging before her eyes as she tried to neaten the stack of books, only to fail in the process ad give up. "And by any chance, do you know what class this is? I'm not sure if I'm in the right room," she admitted with a small blush.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

As much as Ash hated to make judgements on people or dub them rude or mean at first encounters, she had a growing feeling in her that this boy was not one she'd want to be friends with. "Alright," she said in response as she tried her hardest to snuff out the anger in her eyes at his annoying comment. "Do you have anyone in mind who would know?" Ash asked instead, although she had a sinking feeling that the answer to that would be no as well.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Of course, Ashley thought bitterly in response. This boy was really starting to get on her nerves, and her unhappiness only doubled when she stood from her seat on the ground and found that her height was no where near his. "By myself," she repeated drily, her tone utterly flat yet filled with sarcasm. "Gee, thanks for the offer," Ash added as she rolled her eyes. Maybe she would just find a teacher, although the thought of more social interaction in this Hell of a school didn't excite her.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Ashley huffed and aggravated breath at his response, and her anger only grew at his small smirk. "Well, since you've been so very helpful, I'm sure I won't be late," she replied with a bittersweet tone. Maybe missing class would be inevitable... especially if all the students were like this.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

"Thanks," Ash said in an airy voice as she tried her best not to roll her eyes. She bit her lip as she surveyed e room, turned her attention to the hallway, then looked back at Jiseok. She wouldn't make it in time; maybe it'd be easier just to skip her first class entirely and stay in the empty room until someone who actually knew what they were doing wandered in.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Ash sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I don't know, but please do tell me, why would you care?" she asked back, her frustration lacing into her words. It wasn't as if were his problem, and he clearly didn't care about her struggle to find her classes. And, even though she didn't actually admit it to herself, she was intrigued, and wanted to see what in Hell he was doing in that classroom.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

It took everything in Ashley not to laugh at his statement. "Ah, clearly. I should've known, based off of how very helpful you've been," she said dryly. "And yes," she added with a small glare that held the silent message of: if you make one comment about my height leading you to that answer, I swear on my purple hair that I will bash you over the head with my binders.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Ashley debated his last point. Sure, her teachers wouldn't think to highly of her after missing a class, but who was she to care? It wasn't as if she particularly cared about her term at Ouran; her parents would still love Amira more. She finally answered his question with a nod. "It's their own fault they designed this school to be so confusing," she told him, although she said the statement aloud more to attempt to further convince herself that what she was doing was right than to point it out to him.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

"No, not really. It's my parents' fault," she responded with a bitter smile. Well, technically it was by her choice, but they were the ones paying for it and actually caring about her education. Not that she'd admit it to Jiseok. "Well, do you happen to have a map on hand?" she asked in counter with a skeptically raised eyebrow.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Of course he didn't have a map. Oh, how helpful he was turning out to be! "Well that certainly does help, doesn't it?" she responded, her bitter tone back once more. She truly didn't want to skip class, but what other choice did she have? She dropped her binders onto the nearest desk as she pulled her small body onto the top of the desk next to it, the position highly suggesting the fact that she wasn't going anywhere. "Are you skipping class as well?" she asked as her head tilted to the side in genuine curiosity.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

((why am i here and how did my life become like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH3t8... ))

Ash sighed and rolled her eyes at his ridiculous statement. "Of course you don't. It's completely believable!" she exclaimed in such a tone that some would take as an implication of mental instability, and paired with her feigned laugh that sounded like a hiccuping goat, she was borderline crazy.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

"Not that," she responded with an exasperated sigh. "I was talking about your comment about not having to go to all of your classes." Idiot, she thought as she blew a strand of purple hair out of her eyes.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

That was a good point... Ash simply had no argument against it. Her feet swinging back and forth beneath the desk, she fixed her curious eyes on his face. "So, what do you do when you skip?" She'd never been much of a troublemaker in school, so skipping classes was a new thing for her.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Well. That was disappointing. She'd been expecting a different answer; maybe one a bit more grand? Perhaps it was a bad idea, after all, to skip class. She should've asked a teacher for help- but no, she just had to ask that extremely annoying third year. "What are you doing today?" she asked this time.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

(( o_o that's somewhat scary, somewhat not? it could be worse ))

Ash couldn't help but laugh dryly. "What else should I have expected as an answer?" she asked, the question not directed towards him, but towards herself. It was an amusing answer, she'd give him that, and was probably a sign hat he wanted her to shut up, but she didn't particularly care about what he wanted.

(( when everyone in my house left for my sister's volleyball tournament i blasted bts for 8 hours straight yesterday my neighbor told me he was outside when that happened and heard me screeching along which is v awkward, consider how he's friends with the guy who's dubbed me 'chen' and the one who thinks jungkook's a rapist + Russian hacker))

Ash knew he was lying, it was clear in both his logic and his tone. "How would you change my grades if there aren't any in the system yet?" she questioned as she raised a skeptical eyebrow. Maybe he just really didn't want to talk to her... God, annoying him was so much easier and so much more fun than she'd originally thought.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

(( ive given up on literally every kpop dance THEY'RE TOO MUCH ))

Ash rolled her eyes. "No, Einstein. I switched to Ouran from my old school yesterday," she told him with a tone that would've brought the implication that she was talking to a child. Her parents simply enough money to make the school accept her, even that far enough into the term.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

(( r.i.p. i be stupid ))

Ash simply responded wit a shrug. His words did inspire a bit of realization in her, but she wouldn't let it show on her face. She wouldn't give him that satisfaction. "I have reasoning behind it, and honestly, I don't really care about my grades, so it's not like it bothers me too much."

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

"My parents are," she answered with a small snort at the thought. It wasn't as if she particularly cared about going to the school, but her parents had been so obsessed with the idea that they'd donated a rather large portion of money to the school in a bribery of sorts to accept someone if such average intelligence as Ash.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

It was typical for people to ask about her parents once they learned about her way of getting into the school, and she despised every second of it. "Aimee and Andrew Lee," she answered with a bitter expression.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

(( what is life i have no idea i'm internally panicking ))

"Yeah... my sister's name is Amira, so she fits in too." It was a bit annoying at times, that even though her parents despised her, they still tried to make her a perfect little member of their family by cursing her name. But then again, it'd be even clearer of their dislike towards her should her initials been completely different from everyone else's.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Ash's eye itched as the longing to slap the smirk off his face grew more and more tempting, but she held back for his sake, or, if she were being more honest, her sake. She wasn't the strongest, so if she even attempted to put force into the motion, she'd probably end up embarrassing herself more than startling or hurting him. "She's older. Why do you ask?" She assumed it was probably to make some other comment to provoke her further, but she just wanted to see what he'd answer with.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Ash rolled her eyes. At least he was being blunt about it now. "Oh trust me, little miss perfect is more annoying than I am," she told him with a bitter laugh. It wasn't that he sister alone was annoying, it was more of how she had to be so good at everything, and how her parents only saw her sister's perfection rather than her efforts.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

"Her perfection is what's annoying," she told him dryly. All her life she'd been waiting for the moment when Amira would mess up at least once- but it never happened, and Ash had never felt any more frustrated.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Ash tape her finger against her chin in thought as she weighed out their annoying actions in her head. "I think she's a bit less annoying than you," she admitted. "But only because she doesn't purposely try to be."

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

(( asfgafei;ugwhhhhhhhogsdhoiwgeosh i'm not going to be in NY the same time as NCT since my aunt is busy kill me now we're going in july instead ))

She had to tilt her head to the side in confusion at the completely sarcasm-free response her comment had brought out from him. Weird. "You're very welcome," she told him sweetly, not exactly what else she could say. Maybe he did take it as a compliment.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

(( i fell out of my chair and started crying i was so happy ))

"Well," she said, slipping of the desk so she was standing in front of him. "I'm going to try to get to my next class. But seeing how very helpful people have been in helping me find my way around here, I'm not so sure I'll be successful." She didn't really care anymore; if she were honest with herself, she almost wanted to skip class for the rest of the day. It'd piss off her parents, that for sure, and that was most definitely something she wanted to do.

(( i want to move to your school there are only 3 people in my whole school who like kpop ))

Ash grabbed her binders from the desk she'd laid them on and fixed a last look upon his face, a fire burning behind her eyes in anger. She knew it wouldn't get her anywhere though, she she tore her gaze away and began to head for the door. "Thank you so much for the help!" she chirped before smiling innocently at him and skipping down the halls.
