Haruka has long flowing golden blonde hair. Her hair ends in a curl halfway down her back. She usually leaves it down, although some days she ties it in a braid, or pigtails on either side of her head. She has shining chocolate brown eyes, alluring, but with a strange sense of sadness behind them. Her eyes are adorned with long and thick eyelashes. Haruka has a thin frame, with a quite large chest. Her skin is light and healthy. She stands at about 5'6 and weighs about 115 pounds.

Haruka is very kind to everyone. She cares greatly for the little friends she has, going out of her way to help them with anything they may need. Haruka is very cowardly. She is afraid of anything with more than four legs, which evidentially, was how she was raised. Haruka is also very very clumsy, despite being trained in etiquette and poise since she could barely crawl. She always makes sure to tell the truth, except for the fact that she is lying to everyone about her family and where she comes from.

Haruka was born on an island off the coast of japan, a seperate nation with a king and queen. Haruka was born a princess, second in line for the throne. Her mother, the queen, had become very sickly after Haruka was born. Four years later, her mother developed a deadly virus while visiting another nation. She died shortly after in the hospital, leaving Haruka, her father and elder sister alone. Growing up, Haruka's sister was always the favorite. Her father blamed Haruka for her mothers death. Haruka's father always had time for Megumi, her sister, but never for Haruka. She grew up in the care of her nanny, Michelle, who turned out to be a spy for some government. When Haruka turned fifteen, she decided to run away, hating her family and wanting nothing to do with them. She escaped to Japan with only a suit case of clothes, a credit card and her phone. Haruka's father tried to bring her back, but she wouldn't go. Deciding his efforts were useless, Her father gave up, but he sent several undercover guards to watch over her. He enrolled her in Ouran, under a fake identity to hide who she was. When Haruka turned sixteen, she found out her father had died of the same Illness her mother had. Haruka did not return home, she couldn't. Her sister had gotten married shortly before, and took over the throne. Haruka doesn't want anyone to know about her lineage. As far as anyone else knows, her family owns a business in another country, close to Japan.

• Hanako has been different ever since she was born. Aside from the fact that she was thrown into life with instant privilege and wealth, she was also thrown into life with heart problems. The specific problem is tachycardia illness of kaori miyazono—your lie in april. She showed signs of the illness early in life, but due to how weak it made her and the terrifying side-effects, Hanako was kept in the countryside. This made way for a difficult childhood of constant hospital visits, no friends, and absent parents. To pass the huge amounts of time she spent alone, she taught herself how to play the piano. She sang to herself, wrote poems and turned them into lyrics. Despite how bad it was for her heart, she would sing every day, ignoring the instant light-headedness that would follow certain verses. She was scolded constantly, but what more was there to do in an empty house when she had already finished all of the books?

Hanako lived in this solitude, ironically under the watch of several servants who were not allowed to speak to her, for most of her childhood. When she turned fourteen, she finally snapped. A night when her mother had actually come home, she walked right up to her and demanded to be allowed to go to a school in the city. She was tired of private tutors and wanted to experience a real life. It was only when she turned sixteen when it was decided that she could attend a private school. Which school did she end up going to? Ouran, of course.

Hanako's eternally absent parents allowed her to go to Ouran, but all of the teachers were alerted about her illness and were ordered to keep watch over her at all times. The girl could barely contain her excitement. Before she knew it, she had made friends,
and those friends guided her to the Host Club. All of the Host Club members, as well as everyone in the school, know about her illness and how severe it can become. Karuizawa may be paradise to others and school a prison to some, but Hanako finally feels free at Ouran. Who wouldn't love a school where one could sit down and chat with attractive people?

Akane, ever since she was young, as been a curious girl. She loves exploring and learning new things. This will often cause her to become quiet and calculating instead of asking a lot of questions as one would expect. Contradictory to the norm, she counts adventure as discovering new things. Adventure can be found in anything, she believes, and while she wants to travel, she is willing to limit her search for excitement while she is still attending school. In this way, like many others, she comes off as childish. She is bright and easily excited, and it is quite easy to entertain her. If something she has no knowledge about is introduced, it is likely that it will catch her attention. Once her attention is caught, she sticks with whatever has caught her interest, though it is common for her to move on if something more intriguing comes along, like a child.

PLAYFUL/FRIENDLY/LIKABLE

Akane is easily one of the friendliest people at Ouran. The way she acts is much like a puppy in some ways, which draws people in. Her other aspects hook people on her, and due to this she is surrounded by many friends. Unfortunately, she is so likable that several boys, and even two girls, have confessed to her in the year she has been attending Ouran. True to her nature, she gently turned them down, which may or may not have made their crushes that much worse. Akane is also quite playful, which is another aspect that draws others to her. She is cheeky in how she handles some people, and is not dumb to sarcastic comments. If someone needs to be cheered up for whatever reason, she is easily a person that could come to mind. While she is playful and a bit childish, this does not come with ignorance and annoyance.

Akane is actually incredibly intelligent, one of the reasons as to why she is fluent in five languages screw German. She has perfect grades and continues to advance in her extracurricular activities, which includes volleyball and track, not to mention her studies at home. She is also skilled at observation, which explains why her playfulness does not cross over into being annoying. She understands people's limits and is good at looking for physical signs to tell her when she needs to listen or when she needs to act cheerful. To counter how dull she may come off in the beginning, she uses her intelligence to make witty comebacks and comments when the time is right. While she tries her best to be kind to all, when called for, she can, in simple terms, be one savage girl. She can spit out an amazing insult in a classy way and leave a person speechless and feeling stupid. To be honest, she does enjoy doing that quite a bit.

As is true to her expertise in many different fields, Akane is a diligent, hard-working girl. She does not let any assignments fall behind no matter how late it keeps her practicing in the night. Her determination for perfection is something that is both admired and a cause for concern. Many of her classmates tell her that she should slow down. But her response is always the same. She wants to go far in life, past what her parents have trained her for, thus the reason for her academic excellence; track is good body training, and volleyball is for relaxation; ballet is always a good back-up if something comes up in life and she doesn't get to work her dream-job; the languages studying is great for when she wants to travel the world later in life, and the piano practice is a good way to wind the day down to a beautiful close. Many people will fall silent after her hearing her response, but few could ever notice that her smile and the words themselves are rehearsed. Those few rarely say anything to counter her. It is true she enjoys what she does—well, most of it anyway. But she is wearing herself down in the process and is only continuing to do so due to her sense of responsibility.

• Akane was born into a world of art. With her mother as a world-famous ballerina and her father as a musician, it was expected of her from an early age to take after them. Her parents were not terrible to her, persay, but a smack when she missed a step in a routine or slipped on one of the keys on the piano was not uncommon. They were proud of what they did and wanted her to be just like them. Her lessons began from the moment she could walk and speak. They included ballet, piano, violin, guitar, singing (operatic as well), and several languages. By the time she was twelve, it was determined that she could not be operatically trained while she had a good voice, she was skilled at the piano and violin, but the guitar somehow hated her, German was not her forte, and she was an absolute goddess when it came to ballet.

Akane's mother was incredibly proud of her and every one of her successes led to some sort of reward. Her favorite was a horse, though she really had no need for one. On the other hand, her father was not pleased with her at all. From the moment her father found out about her lack of skill with the guitar, which was the instrument that had made him famous, the only time he spoke to her was to give her harsh criticism and belittling comments. He took more time away from home as if to punish her. Her mother did not take well to that as, in her eyes, Akane was flourishing beautifully. For a couple of years, she was kept awake at night due to their arguments over the phone, or she would be forced to sit silently at the piano bench and wait for her mother to stop screaming at her father, which was rare because he never came home. By the time she turned fifteen, Akane's parents had a divorce.

Their battle was fought out over the media. The main cause was stated as not the lack of passion, but the lack of talent their daughter possessed, as paraphrased from her father. Oddly enough, when it came to custody, Akane's father fought viciously for her. She was touched at first, and then terrified. What would he do once he had his hands on her? Luckily she didn't need to find out. Her mother won custody of her and while her father was allowed to see her with her mother's permission, soon after the event, he seemed to vanish off the face of the earth. A year later, due to lack of time, Akane's mother sent her to Ouran Academy. For most of her life she had been privately tutored, but then she started anew, with a penthouse of her own only a mile from the school. It has been just under a year that she has been attending Ouran, and she couldn't be happier. Her skills with the piano, violin, and ballet continue improving, though her German is still absolute crap. But it looks like this will turn out well for her~

Mana is obsessed with video games, she isn't aware of her surroundings, and is glued to her gaming device. When walking on school grounds, she tends to run into others, and will sometimes not even notice that she did so. She is very quiet/introverted, and stays by herself most of the time. A few of the people who have become her friends are those who like video games as well, and they try to drag her to meet the hosts at the host club, but she refuses. She'd go if there was a host with a video game interest though. Mana becomes very talkative when it comes to games, and can become annoying. She carries a sony psp with her everywhere, and would be heart broken if it got destroyed. She's been through a lot of them due to dropping them. When not being immersed in a video game, she is very attentive to detail, and will point out when something is wrong. She's good at math, and science, but she has a hard time with her other subjects.

Well, she's happy! That's how she's always been, even though she's acting most of the time. Her parents seem to be happy whenever she's happy, so she acts that way, and always has.
In truth though, during those rare moments when she's alone, or with someone she trusts (Sakura), she lets her true side show. In truth, she hasn't been truly happy in a long time, perhaps even before her parents because famous.

Nagisa grew up in a family that was somewhere in between Middle and High Class. However, her father, Sugino Mouri, suddenly had his businesses skyrocket, and became one of the most wealthy men in Japan in a matter of months. After he became recognized, her mother, Yukiko Mouri, was found through him and was scouted to become a model. She had a lot of experience with modeling already because of her mother, a model who never really took off.
Nagisa was sent to Ouran because her parents want her to have a good future. Perhaps become a businesswoman or a model to follow in her parent's footsteps. In reality though, she would prefer to be a housewife or a mother. She doesn't want to disappoint her parents though.

~~Ammon is the prized semi-reclusive son among his noble blooded family line. The boy is very studious and wise despite his young age. People often suggest it's do to the ancient blood that flows through his veins and he's a favorite among most teachers and honor roll student body. Ammon even with his family's wealth and riches prefers to stick with people he knows when it comes to gatherings but will step outside his comfort zone when need be. Occasionally he'll isolate himself from others to achieve a state of peace or tranquility in these bustling times or to keep a distance between him and a foe ; walking away if need be. Having been raised more so in the ways of old customs he's quite civilized, old timey and doesn't find much enjoyment in knew happenings envolving technology or new school stuff. He prefers traditional routes of entertainment such as long chapter books and writing. A journal is often kept inside the inner coat of his uniform when he needs it. Ammon also enjoys being around horses and also horse back riding. The cause of such is back home it's his of his favorite family businesses breeding and raising the finest horses in all of Egypt. Ammon owns several pure blooded Egyptian Arabians back home in his family's stable. This often casts a aura of mystery around Ammon for he is the total oppisite of most wealthy teens his age. He's although usually known to be quite calm, well mannered and respectfully a very good person. His temper may also seem non-existent but it's best not to push him. To push him he does not take well to the insults of his heritage, race, and general Status. Ammon even with his quiet respective appreance is a skilled fighter having been taught to defend himself at a very early age. So as a descendant of a Warroir Pharaoh ; Ammon took it upon himself to learn how to fight and like his noble lineage had declared their family line to be good at. He prefers more ancient fighting styles that closely resemble that of the strikes of animals. Ammon may occasional be seen at a gym practicing with the most elite of opponents. It's easy to tell he's very intelligent and can give historians a good run for there hard earned money. Ammon also is fluent in three other languages besides his own. So easily spoken he his very proud of his heritage despite the usual skepticism from other people. His family had lavish lives being they had kept their blood mostly pure. Strict betrothals and marriages still a comman factor in his family's society. Ammon's mother and Father were both direct descendants of Pharaohs. Much scientific Evidence proves this. The Dna testing proves it. Their blood contains nearly 55% percent of their ancestors today which is incredibly rare and despite not ruling a kingdom his family rules over many businesses and franchises that are worth more than most others. Ammon has oddly enough has 56% a gene mutations in his system giving him golden colored eyes like that of his Ancestor. Besides that his family were wealthy businesses owners. They are founders of three horse breeding stables, cuisine industries, and natural oil buissinesses. Which ranks them as some the richest in their country. The family as a whole that is. Ammon grew up in wealth with his sibling that came a few years after his birth. He grew at his own pace and took studying rather then earning fame through countless lovers like his sister had.

Ammon was a recluse he showed up when need be though and lived in a grand palace where he was mostly raised on most of the olden ways by his grandfather. Ammon had never liked technology much for he had a love of writing and archeology. So he grew up literate and smart. Ammon was a prodigy child. He whenever he could was out and soon became incredibly popular as he was soon asked frequently in helping many movie documentaries or being a guest of honor. His child hood went like a breeze and grew and just became the we love and see today Ammon. As he became a fine young man he struggled a bit for one day he met another striking teen of lower status that liked him as well. Being the oldest child Ammon could choose who he wanted in the romance section of his life. Despite the what most families new they just patted Ammon on the back and told him "go get em tiger." It was a debated thing and Ammon was loved so no use in shunninh him for it. So Ammon quickly fell hard and was very much in a happy relationship until his significant other started using Ammon for his money then cheated on poor Ammon. So how does this reference how he got here? He went on a foreign exchange student expedition in a attempt to find a way of getting over things of his now ended relationship and to get away to relax from his busy life back home.

Hikaru's first impression isn't all that welcoming. He has dark shadows under his eyes and a gaunt appearance, not to mention the fact that he usually has his face shoved in a computer screen. It is rare to see him in the presence of another person. He comes off as dark and dangerous, and while his job may in fact be dangerous, his main reason for not associating with others is because he does not know how. The only interaction he has to go based off of are those of the underground (how he interacts with his customers, his mother's past clients, etc). And he is certain that there is no way any of those interactions would be acceptable at Ouran. Aside from coming off as dangerous, he also seems suspicious. No one knows his real name, and no one can tie him to any wealthy family, so they stay away.

SERIOUS/INTELLIGENT/DANGEROUS

True to his first impression, Hikaru is, in fact, dangerous. His job is less than admirable; one slip-up could land him either in prison or in the basement of a mafia boss, being tortured for information. Anyone associated with him is instantly a target, a tool against him should he take a wrong turn. Due to this dangerous job, he has become (though he already really was) a very serious person when concerning most matters. He often thinks of most situations as critical, which is one of the reasons why he has incredible grades despite his many absences. This also makes him a tiring person to be around sometimes, which has been a main factor to people not associating with him after trying him out. As almost a requirement for his job however, he is extremely intelligent. This is the only other reason why he has incredible grades. He is a natural genius and, if given the right environment, he could easily flourish.

EXCITABLE/TALKATIVE/EASILY-EMBARRASSED

It is a shame that the students of Ouran academy are too afraid to approach him. Hikaru may be socially awkward, but he is so much more than that. If someone actually took the time to break past the wall he has put up around himself, they would come face-to-face with an adorable, excitable young man who is curious about the world he has never been allowed to explore. Once he felt comfortable with a person he would become like a puppy, easily entertained by things he does not know about and eager to share with others the things he is interested in—in which case he becomes extremely talkative. At that point it is usually quite hard to get him to shut up. Surprisingly is not hard to break past his barrier as long as one is persistent, and he is so starved of positive interaction that it wouldn't take much work. He wants a friend, and that much isn't too hard to see once someone has broken past that wall.

POSSESSIVE/PROTECTIVE/SELFLESS

Due to how he was treated by his mother and him growing up with a very severe lack of positive social interaction, Hikaru, unknowing to him, would become very possessive should anyone actually try to get close to him. Having something of his own is a new concept to him, so if anyone was ever willing to look past his standoffish nature and get him to open up, it is be certain that he would never let go of that person. He would most-definitely be nervous and uncertain with every aspect of a healthy relationship, but once he is allowed to get attached to someone or something, there is no doubt he will be possessive. The is the same with his mother, as she has been the only consistent thing in his life, verbal abuse or not. He becomes very protective over anything he claims as his, and this would be the same case with anyone who he may begin to be possessive over. For these people, but not for them alone, he is entirely selfless. He feels that doing something for someone else means more than doing something only to benefit himself. This is amplified with those he cares for, which, at the moment, only means his mother. He will do anything and everything she wants him to, as long as it makes her happy, and she does, and others will, take great advantage of that. Unfortunately, he doesn't understand self-worth, and is naive to those he trusts. This is his major flaw.

{History:}
• Hikaru's birth was not a miracle but a tragedy to several people. The night his mother went into labor was the night of the first person to be affected by his birth. His mother's lover at the time and his father was so focused on his mother's condition that he ran a red light, resulting in a three-car collision. Two of the five people involved in the accident ended up in critical condition and one of them died before they could reach the hospital. The other two were Hikaru's mother and one of the other drivers. Hikaru's father was in a coma by the time Hikaru was birthed, but the other person in critical condition was a baby around the age of one. The person who had been killed by the impact was the child's father, unknowing leaving the girl as an orphan. Despite all that had happened, Hikaru's birth was easy and there weren't any complications. The complications came after.

Hikaru's father remained in a coma for almost a year, leaving his mother unsupported for that time. When Hikaru's father finally awoke, the man said that Hikaru was a curse and he left his mother, who was struggling financially, all alone. The girl who had been in critical condition was two around this time. She had recovered, luckily, and lived with a loving foster family. Unfortunately, Hikaru's mother fell into debt and ruin. Thus by the time Hikaru was six, he was used to living in a rundown apartment with one piece of bread a weak, and water littered with mosquitos. His mother had become a prostitute to save herself from the consequences of her debt. And every day she reminded Hikaru that their predicament was all his fault. She was selling herself because of him, and the only way to redeem himself was to behave and be a good boy. He did his best to do as she pleased.

This way of life, however, meant that Hikaru's own life went spiraling downwards. His mother's debt consumed her and he searched for work, but due to only knowing the ghettos and the underground network, he ended up getting into a very dangerous line of work. By the time he was twelve, he had secured a hacking job. He basically became an info broker for all of the shadiest groups one could imagine in Japan and even foreign places. He and his mother stayed in the same apartment, but she was no longer beautiful due to alcohol and drug abuse and stress. She received no more customers and so he began taking care of her like one would a child, which caused him to mature far too early. He became the sole provider for his small family, but he wanted to be more, wanted to have more than just a life of sketchy jobs and no food and moldy blankets. Wishing finally got him somewhere: Ouran.

Hikaru hacked into the school's system, entered his name with the new term for high school first years, and with the money from his last good-paying job, bought himself a uniform. He is often absent from school due to his job, not to mention he has never been to a proper school before this one, has no social skills, and no friends, but he is somehow able to hold his own with his academics. It is also a good cover for what his actual job is. He is awkward and lonely, and new to life, and while he may love his mother, verbal abuse has made him quite sensitive (not that he would ever let it show). Play nice and be gentle with him. One day his job may come caving in on his life, and he'll need someone there to help him out of the rubble.

Ash has startling eyes that appear to be almost red, and while purple hair may not look the best with her skin color and irises, she has no intentions of changing it. Her clothing style is always the Ouran High Uniform, which also clashes with her hair. She wears a black bow in her hair along with the uniform, and if one were to look closely at her neck, they'd see a tattoo of a circle. She has a very small body, and in addition to her petite form and skinny body, her height is laughable, as she stands at only four foot eight.

Ash, while outlandishly weird once you get to know her, is typically seems to be a reserved person at a first glance. She sits by herself often, and doesn't often talk to the other students; she waits to be approached. This is mainly inspired by the fact that she is a bit scared of social interactions, although she doesn't mind them as much once someone else starts it. In the end though, she doesn't exactly care about what others think of her, and is perfectly fine with being a loner.

However, should someone get to know her, they would see that she is an adorable, loving, person, who's just a bit weird. She's always laughing when she's with her friends, and a day hardly passes where she doesn't make at least five jokes. She is rather innocent, however, and tends to be rather oblivious to logic. In her classes, she tends act like her head is in the clouds, and almost always spaces out while the teacher is talking.

Growing up in a household as the least favorite child in the home wasn't the easiest for Ash, and as she grew up, the expectations only grew, and life only got to be harder. Her older sister, Amira, was extremely successful, and her highly prestigious family was in love with their heir's skills. Ash was almost always forgotten, lost in Amira's shadow. However, when her parents actually did bother to pay any attention to her, they just pushed her to do better, and expected her to be every bit as smart as her inhuman sister.

So, at age five, Ash had already found that she despised her parents. Her sister was nice enough to her, but she was hardly ever home. Her only true friend was a boy at her public school, but he moved away three years later, leaving her alone. When she turned 14, her sister had already been shipped off to a military academy, and her parents' focus was finally turned onto their younger daughter.

They were disappointed in her lack of progress in the world, and, after a brief moment of contemplation, eventually decided to pay for her term at Ouran High. They check in every so often to make sure she's at the top her class (which she tends to not be), but otherwise have forgotten about her.
