Acelin cut her hair according to male guidelines and bought a male uniform because she liked it better than the cumbersome looking female dress. She also know that males are viewed much more highly in Chinese society, and decided that she could use her androgynous looking and pale face to use that to her advantage. Her silver eyes and jet black hair are odd, but she can usually cover them by keeping her head down.
❀Personality ❀ Acelin is kind, gentle, caring, and easily concerns herself with other peoples well being. She will go out of her way to help others, whether it be solving a puzzle, or getting them something. She has sympathy galore, and can understand people's difficult situation. She works hard, and is patient with those who need help, doing her best to help people grow and develop as humans, and overcome weaknesses. If she knows she can do something to help, she will do her best to do it, and she wont stop until she is finished.
Acelin also loves reading, solving puzzles, and overall intellectual work. If you put a puzzle in front of her she wont stop or take a break until it's done. If it's an impossible puzzle, then she will either solve it, or figure out it's impossible and make it to where it is possible. She likes 'reading' people, figuring out aspects of their life through their physical and verbal cues. If she is faced with a problem or fact, she will solve the problem and fact check. Often she doesn't believe something for a long period of time until she can make 100% sure it is right.
Acelin is a complex person, but very few people know her as well as she knows herself. She is shy, and rarely talks to anyone unless it's crucial for her to help them, or harm them. She usually does solitary activities, and avoids social gatherings like a swarm of angry hornets. Because of her social disadvantage, she often has a hard time conversing with people without being misunderstood, or having her point completely missed altogether. She usually just gets ignored, and doesn't talk at all.
❀History❀ Acelin lived in France her entire life. She lived in a bilingual household, and learned English at the same rate she learned French. Once her parents decided they didn't want her, they shipped her off to her Aunt and Uncle's place on the other side of the country. Her Aunt decided it would be a good idea to send her to Ouran, seeing as while they had money, Acelin didn't. Her mom and stepdad were middle class, and lived an okay but not lavish lifestyle. Once she moved to Ouran, her Uncle bought her an apartment and let her live there by herself. He pays for basically everything from across the ocean.

Kyou has a very tall and muscular build, he seems to tower over almost everybody. He is muscular due to practicing basketball and working out almost all the time. He has dark hair, and murky blue eyes, that glare at everyone. He either had a cocky smirk on his face, or an aggravated frown.

[Personality]:
Kyou is very cocky with everything he does, and surprisingly, that cockiness never gets the best of him. He's very intelligent, but can act like an idiot when he wants to be. At times Kyou will get incredibly serious, this is usually in the midst of an intense game, or when someone angers him to that point. He is short tempered and rude to everyone, save for his childhood friend Yanai. He can easily beat her at sports, though it is a challenge for him, so he decided to stick around, alas, them ending up together almost all the time. He does show affection towards some people, but this is rare. Many people sometimes mistake Yanai and him as a couple, but he insists that she's just an annoying childhood friend, whether he's saying it out of embarrassment, or he is serious about it, the reason is unknown.
[History]:
Kyou's parents were very well known athletes, and as their son, it was almost his job to become like them. At first, he wasn't into playing basketball, and would rather just hang out, but finally, after his parents nagged him too, he started to try. Turns out, that he was very good at the sport, and could easily beat people. In middle school, his parents had retired from playing, and moved to a new area. Where Yanai was. He was very cocky around everyone, even if they had been in the area longer than him. He had beaten Yanai, and when he had thought that maybe she'd leave him alone, she simply stuck around, and that is the way life has been for him since middle school. He joined a basketball team in town, and is now the ace for it. He practices often, but will slack off sometimes when he feels like it.

Toshio is quite tall, he has pale skin, and very light blonde hair. He has a lean body, but he isn't muscular at all. He has reddish pinkish eyes, that nobody gets to see because of the sunglasses he wears all the time. All. The. Time.

[Personality]:
Toshio on the outside looks like a calm and collected person, and sometimes he acts like a total jerk, speaking only the truth when he wants to. In the inside though, he really just wants to be accepted, even if he is 'different' than the other kids. He and his sister are very close, causing him to be protective of her. No, there isn't an incest thing going on, but if someone were to mess with his sister, he'd be very angry, and would say something about it. When listening to music, he'll be in his own world, and even just one person trying to talk to him would annoy him greatly. He tries to act like a 'cool kid', and when he does something stupid, or out of 'character', he just says he did it ironically, or for the irony. He even annoys himself when he says it, but he does anyways. Toshio has an odd obsession with apple juice, though he would never admit it.
[History]:
Born to two poor parents, Toshio and his twin sister were sent to an orphanage at birth, and were left to stay there for years. They probably would have been adopted sooner, but because of their albinism, they were considered freaks, and outcasts. Nobody wanted to adopt them, or even look their way. Ever since the two had been born, they were close to each other, the other never letting one stray away too far. Toshio became very insecure about his condition, and try to act like he didn't have it, when it was quite obvious. On the other hand, his sister embraced it. He never understood this, but he wouldn't dare judge her about it. He did hate though, the fact that she dismissed the bullies and tried to get him to do so as well. A few more years went by, and one day the twins got lucky. A wealthy couple happened to come by for a child, and the twins caught their eyes. They were the type who loved foreign and extravagant things, so the two were quickly adopted, and treated preciously. The family moved to Tokyo, and were enrolled into a school. At first, a few people would get curious, and actually think they were pretty cool, but as the days went by, they were bullied at that school as well. Toshio wasn't bullied as much as his sister though, because he had taken it upon himself to hide his albinism by wearing sunglasses everywhere. It was a bit far fetched, but he stuck with it. Being over protective of each other, they asked to move schools, and were allowed. Now, the twins attend Ouran Academy as second years.

Rin's first impression is a 'you get what you see' type of thing. She comes off as cold and standoffish, and that is exactly what she is. She is not a nice person, not one with a secret side to herself that will allow people to wriggle their way into a circle of kindness. No, she is through-and-through a bitch. She does not like nice people either, and she often finds herself being especially cruel to those people. Anyone who tries to be kind to her had better watch out. She is a snake, and she isn't afraid to strike with icy sarcasm. Oftentimes people think that she is lashing out from loneliness, but they soon find out that she couldn't give less of a fuck. There is not a bone in her body that feels bad for being mean to people, even if they are known around Ouran for being a good-natured person. She doesn't care. She's a horrible person, but she's classy in the way she tells you that she couldn't care less about your feelings.
NARCISSISTIC/SELF-CENTERED/CONFIDENT
In addition to how much of a bitch she is, Rin is incredibly narcissistic. Maybe it stems from her tutors and the tabloid's constant praise, but she simply thinks that she is the best being in the world. She knows she's beautiful, she knows her eyes sparkle, and she knows that she doesn't need make-up to make herself pretty. She is beautiful, and her work-out routine keeps her legs looking like those of a goddess. Her chest is the perfect size and shape, as is her backside, and she has no problem telling people that she has a better figure than them. Her acting skills are flawless, and they come from her alone, not from anyone else. Rin knows that she is beautiful and she praises herself on her looks as well as her acting. As if to make her an even worse person, she will talk to herself mentally quite a lot, judging others while confirming her own skills, feeding her already huge ego. She is amazing, and she knows damn well that she is.
DEMANDING/SADISTIC/PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE
Rin, adding to her narcissism, takes full advantage of her fame. She has grown into a total diva, being very demanding even with the people in the film industry that are higher-up in the ranks than she is. She may be obedient toward her parents, but that doesn't mean she loses any of her traits in their presence. In fact, she oftentimes becomes worse. Her sarcasm quiets, but this only makes her passive-aggressive. Unfortunately for the people around when she is with her parents, they get not only the passive-aggressive side of Rin, but also her sarcasm, and cold-heartedness. Unsurprisingly, she is a sadistic girl. She enjoys seeing people feel bad about themselves, and while she doesn't know whether or not she likes seeing people in physical pain, for now their petty feelings being damaged brings her incredible joy. The look on their faces when she insults them or makes them feel stupid, to her, is the best expression in the world. Good luck trying to change her into a nice person.
PERFECTIONIST/CRITICAL/REALISTIC/INSECURE
The fueling factors for how Rin is, are her being a perfectionist and her insecurity. Unfortunately, this only make her worse over time. She needs things to be how she wants them to be, exactly. It is not rare for her to lose her cool over something not being how she desired, and a few times she has even had panic attacks. If something does not go her way, if something is not perfect in the way she sees as perfect, then it is not acceptable. She refuses to think of her obsession as OCD, but in can be considered such a thing. She has a routine in the morning and after school, and if it is messed up in a way that does not please her, she could have a panic attack. This unfortunately also effects how she works, as she is extremely critical. She over-works herself to make sure she is perfect, and she can even be self-depreciating at times, which contradicts her narcissism a bit. This also effects her work because she is oddly realistic for a person who is a perfectionist. Unlike how a typical perfectionist will try to get something spot-on and won't stop until it is, she is the opposite. If she finds something to be a lost cause, it is likely that she won't try to fix it, though it does irritate her quite a bit. She will fiddle with something that she knows won't be perfect, no matter how hard she tries to stop herself. It's odd for her fall into a panic attack though, so rest assured. But...that doesn't mean she'll ever be particularly nice to you.

• Rin was born the daughter of a very rich couple—a director and his wife, an actress. From the moment she came into the world, it was determined that she would follow her parents' footsteps and enter the film industry. Her childhood consisted of dieting to make sure she kept her slim frame and daily lessons after school every day to improve her acting and screenwriting skills. She had an incredible talent for creating worlds with a pen, or a computer, but her parents did not want her writing books. She had to be like them or she would not be successful in her adulthood. By the age of seven, she had been in several films and even some commercials. Her name was well known, as was her face, being that she was the daughter of people who were constantly in the media.
Rin's parents were the 'it' couple in the eye of the press, so they often had no privacy. This meant that Rin didn't have any alone time either. Between being home schooled by a private tutor, her acting lessons, and the dinners they went out to, she didn't even have enough time to keep up with diary entries. She was worked to the bone, and all the while she had to keep a poker face for her parents' reputations. Whenever they had days off from being the face of the media, Rin spent it catching up on her sleep or jotting down story ideas that had come to her in the middle of an acting lesson and had made her mess up on her lines. Her life was not anything near dull, but she was irritated at not being able to choose a thing for herself. When she expressed these feelings toward her parents, they gave her an option. Score a major role in a film, and have that film be successful, and she could have more freedom, or continue on with life and be quiet and obedient.
What would you choose? Rin obviously went with the first option. Due to her name and skills, she easily scored a role in a movie called Kimi no Nawa or, Your Name. Her inner bookworm fell in love with the story that the movie gave, and she was honored to be the female lead in the film. Unfortunately, the studio was not well known when compared with Studio Ghibli and she was terrified of the movie not being successful enough for her parents' approval. She tried out for other movies, though she accepted the lead role in the new movie. She was desperate, but not enough to let it show. Surprisingly, she did famously in the movie and it became a hit in several countries. When she heard the box-office numbers, she actually broke into tears on live television. She was finally granted permission to do something she wanted for a change.
The first thing Rin declared was that she would attend a proper school. She was bitter and unsociable, not to mention a mean person in general, but she wanted to experience the outside world properly for once. After the hype of the movie she was in died down a bit, she was enrolled in Ouran Private Academy. People flocked to her because of her fame and her incredible press-time, but she was dismissive. She didn't know how to interact with others. Despite how successful her acting lessons were and the fact that people should've known from magazine articles that she was not a particularly nice person, the students at Ouran assumed she would be like her fictional persona from Kimi no Nawa. This has not sat well with the diva. Not at all. In fact, her attitude has become worse and she is known around the school as the Icy Princess. She may hate how naive some of the people at Ouran are, she cannot help but yearn for some sort of relationship. Unfortunately, it's not that easy for her.

• Junko was born a twin, and the daughter of two extremely poor people. The couple loved their son and daughter with all of their hearts, but without enough money to even feed themselves properly, they took the twins to an orphanage, leaving them on the step and fleeing before they could change their minds and subject their children to a poor life. As all children abandoned on the steps of an orphanage are, the twins were accepted into the establishment. They were given first names and grew healthy, but that did not mean that they were instantly accepted into the environment. In fact, due to the fact that the twins, Junko and Toshio, were albinos, they were cast out.
As soon as Junko could understand that she and her twin were being separated for their odd appearances, she made it her duty to watch over Toshio. Her condition was more severe, but Toshio took it harder than she did. Thus, he was easy prey for the bullies that seem to liter every orphanage. She went through the years trying to keep a level head, trying not to punch each and every child that teased them, trying not to let her mind become consumed by her own insecurities. Luckily, she became so busy watching out for Toshio and dodging her tormentors, that she had no time to think about how ugly she felt. Their torture ended temporarily when they turned thirteen. A couple walked into the orphanage looking to adopt, and it was intrigue at first sight.
The couple, obsessed by things that were out of the ordinary, instantly took a liking to Junko and her brother. Just as openly as they were embraced, Junko quickly came to like the two. She hoped that Toshio would be able to get past his insecurities when they moved in with the couple, but without having to worry so much, she soon became inwardly as insecure as Toshio openly was. She felt that she couldn't be beautiful with snow white hair and amber eyes, not to mention her disgusting pale skin, and how it made her look constantly ill. She hated how, when she blushed, there was no way to hide it. She hated how make-up made her look like a doll. And so she found an escape, a way she could feel beautiful. She turned to dance. By dancing, she found a way to kick her insecurities in the shin. Due to her innate talent, she felt no need to prove herself to the people at the school she at first attended.
Unfortunately, the people there were terrible to her, moreso than Toshio for a change. Toshio pretended to be normal, but the way she embraced her differences gained her a lot of hate from the people around her. To escape from the bullies at the school, Toshio suggested, when they turned sixteen, to move schools. At first Junko tried to convince her twin that she was alright, but their adopted parents accepted the option instantly. They moved, and by their seventeenth birthday, the twins began attending Ouran Private Academy. Junko was easily accepted and even admired, but Toshio continues to refuse who he is.
