That is probably something that one wishes they wouldn't find out.
I've learned over the years that there's nothing that I don't prefer in moderation. Another way to see this or posture the questions:If you were stranded on a deserted island and you could only have a lifetime supply of three things, what would you want to have with you?
I'd get sick of it all, foodwise... except fresh clean water and fuji apples. I'd want an icemaker, too. :)
I often overdose on salty stuff like pistachios and roasted pumpkin seeds. The salt just dries you out and makes your mouth feel like a parched beach. But does that stop me? Noooooo...

That's what beer is for, Jackie.

Resurrection Ale for me, Michelle:

Will my desert island have a tap?
I'd also like a tap for Thomas Kemper Orange Cream Soda (no other soda will do), one for basil limeade, one for Celestial Seasonings' Candy Cane Lane herbal tea, and one for water.

Clearly you've never eaten cake for several meals in a row... lots of it (I have - hard lesson learned). Seriously, EVERYTHING loses its appeal when consumed outside of moderation.
Except maybe apple pie. Homemade pie, that's made with Granny Smith apples, so it's not too sweet. I don't think I'd ever get sick of that.
We have a deep dish apple pie made with Granny Smith apples. Not sure that I would get to sick of it either.
a slawburger is a south thing and the ones that i hav had are BBQ pork with vinegar slaw on top piled on a bun. sounds weird but they are great. wish i had one now...i made some super spicy mop sauce for a big BBQ party i went to and now i am hooked on it and put it on everything. all my buddies want it so i have given out bottles and bottles of it and am down to about 20 ounces. must make more
I would challenge ANY of you to eat your dessert treats for a week, several times a day... and tell me that you still wouldn't get sick of it. I don't believe, for a minute, that I stand alone in my experience.
Kayseri BoregiHomemade macaroni and cheese
Cheese of almost any sort (favorites are Manchego, Sharp cheddar and Herbed goat)
Brick oven pizza
Mashed potatoes
Baked lamb with orzo
Coca-Cola
Bean Burritos
Unfortunately, cheese is my ass's (and thighs') worst enemy. Cheese is the one thing I can't give up when I am trying to eat right, not that cheese is unhealthy, I just have an extremely hard time setting limits on it.
I love chocolate, but it doesn't take much to be too much. That is, of good chocolate, and JUST chocolate. I can eat LOTS of chocolate ice cream, probably because it's not really that chocolatey.
Throw some coffee down the hatch and keep the sweets acomin Heidi.Kevin, I have a recipe for bbq that was my Gpa's. I make up a batch and keep it around, great for dipping bread. It only has four ingred. He used to sell it when money was tight in the fourties and fifties.
I like cheap chocolate...Cadbury and Ritter Sport are my favorites. My husband on the other hand is a chocolate elitist.
