Madi Voss I think the theme of this book is; surviving against all odds. I think this is the theme because Cassie is surviving against a whole other race. She may be the only survivor left. Both of her parents are dead, her friends are dead that she knows of, and he brother was taken away. She lived in the woods for a while to stay hidden, then started traveling along side a road to find a safer place. She gets shot in the leg and as she hides under a car, talks about the death of her parents and how Sammy got taken away.

Madi Voss Why wouldn't they let Cassie get on the bus with Sam?

Why are only the children getting on the bus, what will happen to Cassie and her dad if they can't go?

Why do they need to take only children, don't other people need to be saved too?

Leah SPOILERS ALERTS************I used the think this series was awesome but it was kind of wack. The last book just seemed uneccessary a bit and moved kind of slow. Still not understanding the ending about he cowboy guy and oh yeah when the HECK did Ringer get pregnant? I don't remember her in infinite sea having sex with Razor? Like what? As you can see this series left me with nothing but utter confusion, But it was not a waste of time.

Max The Fifth Wave..... it was ummm.... interesting. I have never really been into alien invasion type things, but I was desperate for some new books, so I started reading it. The first book was pretty good. It was definitely not one of my favorite books, but once I start a series, I have to finish it so I took out the second one. It all went down hill. That book was terrible! It was confusing, boring and none of the characters were likable. I would not suggest it to anyone.

Max Should I even try?

Sarah Roberts Ok so in my honest opinion i felt like Evan Walker was the bad guy . Know he did save Cassie and all but i felt he was double sided the whole time

The first book had a really cool idea behind it. The second book was a very slow segue into the third book. I found the third book to be the best one. But, I wish I had not read book #2 until #3 was already out, I had a pretty vague memory of what even happened, it was a struggle to remember. I didn't think I would give The Last Star a chance, but I'm glad I did!
