Spring break here was a couple weeks ago too :) But my kids are too young anyway so it doesn't really affect me. I'll be here!

Yeah, my spring break was last week also but I'll read as much as I can!!
I'm in. My kids have spring break the following week so that will give me time to participate.

already had spring break here, but I actually didnt get much reading done LOL I didn't realize how much reading I get done with pit stops during Mom's Taxi runs ( that gets me 2-3 hrs a day) I will be trying this for the first time never did a read a thon
We get a four day weekend that's April 14-17 so that's a mini-break but I'll take it! Lol
I would like to do it! :) Hopefully it will help motivate my reading. Just had tons going on lately reading has been on the back burner!
I'm a bit confused with the clock. Do we all start at the same time or do we start on April 9th but in our own time?
Abbigail, you we all start at the same time. I'll start at 9:00 PM April 8, some will start at midnight April 9 and so on. It depends on where you live. Whatever time it is where you live right now, everyone will be starting in approximately one hour and 22 minutes.
Ok. Thank you for telling, otherwise I would've started at the wrong time.

I am going to participate in this readathon. My spring break was last week but I should still have a lot of time to read.

Even though it already started, I'll join too. My spring break ends today but all we're doing in school is preparing for AP tests so it should be a little more relaxed, hopefully.

So, all of us MODs have been wanting to have another readathon for a while now, and we decided to schedule one for spring break! At least, we hope that it's spring break for you! This is going to be a very chill, and easy going readathon. Right now we have no games or points planned (though, if you really wanted I'm sure that I could make something happen). ;) So, it's going to be a fun week of stress free reading. Sound fun?
The readathon starts April 9 at 12:00 am EST, and ends April 15. So, Sunday through Saturday. Here is a COUNTDOWN CLOCK so that everyone knows when we will start. Sorry for the short notice, but we really want to have a fun week filled with good books.
We hope that you can join us, even if it's just for a couple hours! We will have a thread for you to talk about the books you are reading, a place to keep track of the books that you have read, and we always have a place for everyone to participate in reading sprints to help motive you to read, or even just to have some fun. :)
So, us MODs want to know....are you going to join us! I'm personally going to be here all week in my cozy blankets, and would love to chat! Let us know if you are going to be joining! :)
