Frances Neeson | 12 comments details I remember:
- 2 sisters (one blonde who I think was called Paula) and a cousin who comes to stay with them for a while.
- a museum opens up in their town containing dolls. the sisters love the museum but the cousin is creeped out by it
- the sisters somehow get made into dolls and they are replaced by creatures who look just like them but act completely differently.
- something to do with a mysterious green stone
- read it between 1995 to 2000
- a next door neighbour called Robert I think. He also hates the doll musuem
-

any help much appreciated!

El | 502 comments Is this YA or adult fiction? Do you remember anything about the cover? Was it a new book when you read it between 1995-2000, or do you think it had been published much earlier?

message 8: by Frances (new)

Frances Neeson | 12 comments it was YA, I can't remember the cover unfortunately but my vahue recollection is that it may have been illustrated rather than a picture. I think it may have been set in Scotland, maybe a town called Isolde or Isolde and it would have been a relatively new book around then. Sorry I can't remember more than that!

Please note the bump period for this large group is 30+ days - or sooner if you remember more information. If it's not the original poster bumping the thread, please do so when you have a book suggestion or helpful comment to add.
