Robbyn | 12 comments I'm trying to remember the title of a book I remember reading in elementary school (either fourth or fifth grade). It was of the science fiction genre. I only remember vague details. There was a remote control like object that I believe let people travel through time. The young boy (protagonist) possibly found it and at some point may have had an interaction with his grown-up self. I want to say the title of the book is the same as the name of the machine. I think it may start with a "T" or an "F."

Please note the bump period for this large group is 30+ days -- or sooner if you remember more information.

Andy | 2124 comments Sorry about that. I wondered if the OP had checked out my suggestion.

Robbyn, around what year did you read this book? This will help narrow down the search.

What time periods and locations did the boy travel to (e.g., how old was his grown-up self)? Did he have companions?

Robbyn | 12 comments My 4th or 5th grade class read it at school. So that would've been 2002-2004.
As for the other questions I don't know. I only have the vaguest recollection of the book.
Andy, I read the description of the book you mentioned. While the title doesn't sound familiar, the plot looks about right. I think I'd have to actually read it to figure out if it is the right book or not. Thanks!

Andy | 2124 comments It's a good book as I recall - I hope you like it even if it wasn't the one you were looking for.
