I knew the members of this group made a good choice!
I love Ilona Andrews' writing and plots and characters and... everything :D I read the book sometime in December 2016 so I'm not joining you guys now. I want to reread it when books 2 and 3 are out so I can binge.

I finished my re-read today and I don't know if I like it better than the first Kate book because I already know the writers and such, but I think it is more that this book has a better pacing to the world building. I love these characters and hope they can keep it going. I also finished my buddy read of Magic Bleeds and definitely enjoyed this one better. You really just don't know about Mad Rogan. You want to like him... kind of, but you see what Nevada keeps pointing out on the sociopath scale. Still he does the right thing. I cannot believe I forgot that epilogue.
I love Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series and I read this book quite a while ago. As there are 2 more books already in the series I think I will definitely re-read this one just before purchasing the other books in the series on my kindle. I had forgotten the plotline so will need to refresh myself before starting again.

It sounds really interesting doesn't it? I'm a big fan of Ilona Andrews previous series' and I'm excited to start this one.
