I finished Victor for Fantasy. I'll start reading The Rake for College: read a book with drinking in it (3 points).
It helps that "Victor" has barely enough pages to qualify as a book for this challenge :) (187 pages) But it's been my TBR list since the end of April, and it fit the category I volunteered to read. As penance, my next book will be 410 pages.
DoneOrphan Train
Retire: a book with a main character over 60 5 pts
Starting Chocolat for Turn 16: party 3 pts
Done!!Get married
3-- main character is married--> Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Get remarried
3-- Fantasy --> When You Reach Me
Wow!! That is enough for me!
:)

Connie, you should read for a living! You're amazing!

Wow, your Almeta eyes must've been watching me knit with my purple yarn, precioussssss
Love the emoticons Almeta! Except that now I want pizza and it's 8.11 am here...Laura, those eyes are definitely spooky!
Camilla wrote: "Love the emoticons Almeta! Except that now I want pizza and it's 8.11 am here..."Pizza is a wonderful breakfast food! lol!
Almeta, do you have a thief theme going for the toppler? lolLove the golfer and married couple!!
Hope tomorrow is your last day of jury duty.
Connie wrote: "Almeta, do you have a thief theme going for the toppler? lol.."lol! Caught that did you?
Not for the Toppler but for the Chunkster.☺
I do think Wednesday will be the last jury duty day. Getting to evidence minutiae now!
I have finished Engleby 3rd life retire - one word titlewill move onto final one A pedigree to die for tonight. I am hoping it is improvement on the last two as i have not really liked either.
Engleby had about 50 pages worth reading and 300 telling us in immense detail about nothing.
Travis of NNY wrote: "I've never made the connection about it being a pun"Well, not a pun exactly. I just realized that it would be pronounced "travesty" as in "caricature".

Ooh, so you caught a criminal trial? Woo. They can drag on awhile. I'm glad today will be your last day (hopefully). I've been thinking about you!
Interesting with your thief theme, and you in court all day, maybe Janice will give you bonus points in the chunksters lol!

Ok, that is an awesome emoticon lol!

I hope this one is better for you, Marie.
Completed The Rake - College: read a book with drinking in it (3 points). I'll go check the 4th Life list to see which books need reading and report back with my next book.
As far as I can tell, no one is reading a book for Buy a House: read a book that takes place in a residence (5 points). I'm going to read Snowbound.
Completed Escape from Camp 14: One Man's Remarkable Odyssey from North Korea to Freedom in the West for foreign country in Life #4, still a little bit left in Cum Laude but will finish tonight.I thought I could read Keys to the Repository next, since I have read all my assigned books. It will work for either YA or fantasy (has vampires in it) or we can just use it as an "extra" book.
Complete for Life #3Your In-Laws Come to Visit for a Month
5 – read a book with some type of reunion of family members
Dead to You
Finished Snowbound for Buy a House: read a book that takes place in a residence (5 points). Is anyone reading a book for either Graduation: unemployed or Have a Baby: main character gives birth? I have a book picked out for both of those tasks that I can start reading, but I don't want to step on any toes.
Completed for Lose Your Job3 – read a book with a color in the title (because you need to read What Color is Your Parachute?)
The Black Tulip by Alexandre Dumas
